Patty, Tim and family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Billy was my coach, my Lt, Capt and Chief on the fire dept and my sponsor for the Mustangs. He taught me things about baseball, the fire dept and life. We are all fortunate that he was part of our lives. He was one of the best men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. May God bless and watch over you all. I know Billy is.

Dear Patty,
I have wonderful memories of Mr. Billy, you and Doc and Marge Allen. Besides the fact that Billy was a handsome man (as you are beautiful!), he was sweet and really cared about his community. My parents had an amazing group of friends, and I remember Mustang's Chicken Barbecues, and many other "soirees" that the "gang" congregated for in Lyons, IL. I remember Billy with his easy laugh and smiling eyes--he was a man you knew you could trust--rare in this world...lol! And we knew he adored his wife and family...in that order. Patty, you are a lucky woman to have such longevity with Billy...something I myself haven't had the good fortune to attain in the marriage department until recently. I was sad to hear that Billy passed from the same thing that my father did--so unusual. That terrible disease has claimed two fabulous men that I admired. Patty, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
P.S. Thanks for fixing all my crooked haircuts!!! Karen Plesha

I will always remember the day that I was sitting on my father's motorcycle in front of our house watching Mr. Allen and Timmy playing catch with a football in their front yard, when suddenly the bike fell over on me and he ran over to pull it off of me. All the neighborhood girls were jealous of the attention I got from him because of that, we all had a crush on him.

Thank you for being there for me! You will be missed and always in my heart!
