May the God who is "binding up the broken hearted and comforting those mourning" sustain you during this most difficult time. (Isa.61:1,2). Again, my deepest sympathies.

Dear Aunt Few,
You and I are now the victims of that old curse of death. It leaves us both widow and widower. I lost Lynn about a year ago and you lost Billy a week ago. Thanks be to Jesus who promises us that by believing in Him death has lost its sting. Please allow Him to take all the hurt. Jesus knew what grief was when he lost His friend Lazarus. He wept at the occasion. Oh, Few may He give you His Shalom in this great time of need.
Love,
David Mixon.

Charles, I remember you as a skilled tennis player who was popular because you possessed character and all the indicators of having been taught well at home. Your father was fortunate to take interest in his family and receive the love of a grateful legacy in return. Heartfelt sympathy from Virginia and me.
