My sincere condolences to the family. It is a blessing Bobby lived a long life while others may never see his age. May God provide you with comfort to cope during this time of your life.

Today we celebrate the life and homecoming of a very influential man in most all of our lives. Uncle Bobby was a humble man, slow to speak, and a great Christian example of how we should conduct ourselves here on this earth. I won't forget his gentleness and Love. I am certain he is in Glory with Lida and the rest of his Family. Thank you Lord for the strong Christian example of Bobby C. Davis. I Love you Uncle Bobby.

I had the opportunity to know Bobby and Lida through alumni work at Louisburg College and cherish those memories of the 1947, 1948, and 1949 joint class reunions. What great people; just like family. Bobby was a gracious, Southern gentleman who loved LC, and I am blessed by knowing him (and Lida) in this special way. What a rich and full life, truly to be celebrated by those of us who found him to be an inspiration!

Bobby was more than an Uncle. He and Lida were like another set of parents during my growing up years. Family gatherings were always special times because of them and the rest of our herd. Bobby was a man of great faith and character and a little bit nieve which made him so endearing to us all. I know you are finally happy again with your beloved Lida. You will be missed!!!!!

Bob was one of the nicest, kindest and most geniune men I have known. Every time you saw him he was always the same man. Every time I saw Bob he always asked how our daughters, Ellen & Jennifer were doing. Bob showed his concern for other people. Bob and Lida were a wonderful couple. They certainly set a great example for other people to follow. My husband, Brooks Johnson worked with Bob over 40 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob's family. We have many fond memories.

What a kind and gentle man Bobby was! My mom thought so much of him and Lida. I'm glad we were able to visit with him for a while prior to my mom's passing.
