Bobby and I were roommates our Jr and Sr years at TAMC. Both engineering majors and close friends. Saw Bob and met Barbara at our 50th reunion in April '10. He was a great one, and I will miss him. Rest in Peace Bobby

It was always great to see Bobby tooling around on his riding lawn mower in his "Lyndon Johnson" hat! We will miss his quiet neighbourly smile.

Dear David, Sulyn,
My thoughts and prayers are with all the family members at this sad time. I will
never forget the years we spent as neighbors and friends on Lakehurst Street in Waco. May God take each of you in His arms and comfort you with His blessings.

A good man; Rest in Peace.

I was privileged to be a Secretary in Program Management at Hercules in McGregor when Bobby was a Program Manager. It was wonderful working for such a nice Christian man. His wife, Sue, was the Secretary at Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in Waco, where our daughter and her family are now members. May Bobby rest in peace and may the family be comforted in knowing that others care.

On behalf of the Sunset Class of 1956 we give to you our endless love for both you and Bobby. It is difficult to say the right words to comfort you -- only you can comfort yourself and we can only let you know that we care about you as we all will miss our dear friend and classmate. Our prayers are with you, the blended families, and his extended family of people he has touched over the years. Even though your married life with him has been short, it has been deep and lasting we know. God has bless everyone who has known Bobby even for just a hello. Stand Tall Girl for you have known and lived with and cared for this wonderful man of God. If you ever need any of us -- all you have to do is just call and we are there for you!

Dear Sulyn,

We are deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of your Dad, yet comforted to know you were able to be with him one last time that night. I am certain you all can rest easily knowing that he has now met his Savior face to face and has heard, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”

As you celebrate his life, I pray you will find much comfort and great joy and it will give you strength as you mourn his passing. He leaves behind an abundant harvest of loving family members and dear friends who will miss his hearty laugh and warm engaging personality. I know you will miss him terribly.
We are sending much love and prayers for your peace and comfort;and know Kevin will pay great homage to your Dad and honor you and your family presenting the eulogy.
We love you, Sulyn; TEXAS-sized hugs from PA to you, Kevin and the children! Wish we could be there in person to present them!

Dear Barbara, it broke my heart when I heard that Bobby had suffered a
stroke after going through his long battle with cancer. You both were so
brave throughout the hardest time of your lives. I am so happy that you
found each other and had enjoyment and love in your lives, even though
the time was short. It isn't the amount of time, but the quality.

What a fine person he was all of his life. Robert thought the world of him,
and always had nothing but good to say of him.

These next days and weeks will be hard, and I am so thankful there is
family to support you. I will always miss my Robby, and you will always
miss your Bobby. We were blessed to be married to the best.

Love,
Vicki Robinson

Dearest Barbara, our hearts go out to you and your family as you grieve the loss of Mr. Thomas. We grieve with you. Mr. Thomas was a very special man... a gentle giant, and we are blessed to have known him. May the arms of our Loving God surround you and carry you through this very difficult time.
