I offer my sincere condolences to the family of Byron. I knew Byron around 55 plus years ago. I met him via Joe Fisher, now deceased. I haven't seen Byron since those days, when we met at the New Yorker downtown, and drank Moscow Mules. Wayne Alley also was in the group that attended these sessions. My name is Bill Wolf from Mt. Carmel, Ill. and I am saddened to learn of Byron's passing. His obit stirred up old memories of our younger days. I may be wrong, but I berlierve that he was attending Evansville College in those days, along with Joe Fisher. Anyway, I'm remembering him in my prayers.

Love to all of you.
Jackie and Girl I am so so sorry to hear about Byrons passing. I know that this is such a great loss for both of you..Knowing that he is now in a better place with no ailments has to give you some great comfort! I am thinking of you all and praying that you are able to have some peace of mind knowing he is no longer suffering. He gave it a great fight and was a hell of a man. I feel honored to know him and consider him on of my friends. Love you both.
Roger, so sorry to hear of Byron's passing. Barbara Sly Smothers sent me the notice, as she has family still in Evansville. Hope you are doing well. With sincere sympathy, Sue (Bushey) and Jan Howell.

"Bake" was truly a one-of-a-kind man. He will be sadly missed. But you know Byron will live in our hearts forever along with many fond memories of great times spent together. Love to you all,
Dear Jackie, Girl and Roger,
When you've shared as much of your life with one person as I have with Byron, it is difficult to express the loss that I feel. We may never have spoken "kind" words to one another, but he knew that I loved him and I knew that he loved me. He was more like a brother than just a dear friend. I will miss him greatly.
Much Love to you all,
There are no words to express how the heart feels when you lose someone you love. I have tried to think of something special to do but unfortunately all I have come up with is that you all have my love and please let me know if I can do anything. I knew when I could not get in touch with "Kaffy Two Eyes" for a while that I would be getting the phone call that is expected but never accepted.
Love to you all and know you are in my heart.
Jackie.....I am so, so sorry. I feel your pain. Byron was one in a million! Can you even imagine what he and Bob are up to now? Rose
