Bill was a dear friend, a wonderful man and very close to my heart. I keep his card at my desk to remind myself what it means to be a friend. He was always happy, always sharing a laugh, going the extra step and making sure you were smiling. The world has lost a truly bright spirit and I will never forget you! My condolences and prayers to Mrs. Harmon and the family, may the Lord bring you peace and strength during this time. <3
Barbara and Mike, My heart goes out to you both. I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. What a great sole. He was a friend to everyone who knew him. His goal in life was to make everyone smile. I know that he is in a better place spending his time telling his ol'fart jokes and hugging every angle he meets. god bless you both and remember that he will be with you forever!

Barbara, I'm sorry for your loss. I'm a friend of Janet's and I know she was close to you and your husband. I pray for you as you get through this tough time.
Bull, as I always called him since I can remember, you were the man i looked up to, you were like the grandfather i never had, i cant tell you how devistated i am about losing someone as special as you. you and mrs barbara are the best people i know, and we arent even related. yall would always tell me to be strong and tell people to stick it where the sun dont shine cause i was the best they'd ever get. you both think the world of me and i appreciate all that you have always done. i remember you always telling me the story about how you remember how i would always crawl around on my baby blanket in the front yard at moms, i even remember always running over to you and jumping up and giving you the big bear hugs. you were, and always will be an amazing person. always watch after me, im gonna need you. i love you more than words can say. <3 ~kayla
I will always remember you and love you from the bottom of my heart, my dearest Uncle Bill.
Uncle Bill what a ride you had in those 82 years of life!!! Aunt Barb he is still the love of your which your are going to miss very dearly. Mike your Dad loved you boys more than life it's self. Sherry and I along with our children and their families have lost a very special Uncle. We all rode on the back of your Harley at one time or another, but some of us had to get our own after that first ride of freedom. Oh what rides you and I had in those 11 years!!! Now you are riding in Gods country and I can only imagine what new roads you are aready traveling. I guest you have already meet a few bikers to ride with or have talked to. Uncle Bill we miss you already, but someday we will be all together again. Until then only ride as fast as your angle says too!!!

Bill was a good friend to me during my Coast Guard Reserves years and after. My first time on the Boat Crew at Station Portsmouth, Bill not only made my training a learning experience but fun, and it was the same on the shooting range. Will miss you Bill
Bill was a great friend and mentor to me. He was well-respected by his subordinates, peers, AND superior officers alike. As a brand new junior officer in the Coast Guard Reserves over thirty years ago, Bill took me under his wing and provided me with the guidance and leadership skills that served me well throughout my career. Fair winds and following seas, good and faithful friend.
"Bull" this Thanksgiving just won't be the same. You will be greatly missed at our dinner table, but I know that you will be here with us. In our hearts, always. We love you and miss you. I miss hearing your truck start up in the morning, or the garage door going up and down for me and especially hearing you start your bike and ride off. I'm sure you are riding again and making angels scatter. You will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you. My greatest regret with you is that I never accepted your offer for a ride. Wow, the things we would do if only we had one more chance. And don't worry about Barbara, you know I will keep a close check on her. I love her too! Keep riding.
Love and miss you!
Aunt Barbara, I love you both and will miss him. I am so glad you were both there for Mom, Kristie and I earlier this year and I hope you will let us do the same for you. Love, Kim
Because our daughter couldn't say Mr. Bill, she called him "Bull", and it stuck for all of us. Now, 17 years later, we say goodbye to Bull, who was very special and dear to our hearts. We have so many fond memories of him just hanging out and chatting about anything and everything from life and family to guns and going shooting, to motorcycles, to work, to vacations, etc. No topic was ever off the table. We enjoyed having dinners with him as well, whether holiday or not. He always lit up a room and was able to put a smile on your face. Bull was one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew him. We love you Bull and Mrs. Barbara.
Love, Dawn and Josh Lamarche
I will miss Bill Harmon's smiling voice. He was always thoughtful enough to call me when he was on the Eastern Shore to see if I wanted to take a motorcycle ride (which I never did! Terrified of them!) I will always remember our past 40 plus years of friendship and
caring about one another. What will I ever do without my "elecrician" or "let Harmon do it"
Barbara Ellen...hearts that love deeply can neve grow old. The memory is the guardina and treasury of all things.
God Bless you and your family my special Barbie Doll!
Pam and I are very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Wetoo, like so many others enjoyed his and Barbara's company. Although our paths have not crossed in some time we often talk to others of our fun motorcycle adventures with Bill and Barbara. Thanks again Bill for giving me a ride to the Harley shop in York when my bike broke down, but that's the kind of guy you are! Ride safe Ol Fart, and rest in peace.

UNCLE BILL I WILL ALWAYS MISS AND LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY. I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO THANK ENOUGH FOR ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT YOU GAVE ME. BUT YOU ARE ALWAYS A SMILE IN MY HEART. LOVE YOU THERESA BRUETTE
Bill was a good friend to his Sons of Confederate Veterans brothers in Camp 9, the 13th Virginia Mechanized Cavalry. We enjoyed his company, and his stories. He will be missed.
Barbra, Tammy & I were sad to here of Bills passing. We will always remember the Fun times on the Bikes and goning to Daytona beach with you. Take care and may God bless you.
Bill will be remembered by his Coast Guard brothers and sisters as a caring "Coastie". He always employed a fine mixture of weapons expertise coupled with his own brand of humor. He always got the job done. Bill was a leader in times when many in the reserve program were not as motivated. Rest in peace my friend. You have earned your place in heaven. We're wishing you fair winds and following seas.
Mrs. Harmon and Mike, I was saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Harmon (I say Mr. Harmon because as kids we would have never called him Bill) Growing up, I remember how cool we all thought Mr. Harmon was because of his Harley. I remember when we took my brother's 125 Rapido over and he rode it up and down the street kind of awkward because he was used to his Electric Glide...we had our own bicycle club for awhile, meeting at Mike's house or mine, "chopping" our bikes and riding around like crazy. Mr. Harmon always had kind words for us damn kids. I'll let the guys know.
May the memories of your loved shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.
The man I called "Uncle Bill", he made me laugh everytime I had a chance to visit with him, he is the only one I trusted to ride on a motorcycle with, he taught me how to shoot a gun (just in case), his heart was made of gold. He was a man I respected enormously and will genuinely be missed. And darn right that Ol' Fart is riding his Harley kickin' up some dust up there in Heaven - until we see each other again
Love Michele,Shawn, Rory & Nicholas
I'll miss Bill and his great sense of humor and friendship. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Wayne and I knew Bill and really loved listening to him talk about the loves in his life his family and his bike. He was a good friend and would be there if you needed him. God bless all of you in your time of sorrow, and we are deeply saddened by his loss! Hope they have Harley's in heaven!
Bill was a great frtend and we rode our motorcycles together in the Harley Owners Club(HOG) for many years. My wife Sally and Bills wife rode all over this country with us and we have precious memories. We will miss you Bill.
