I knew and was a friend to Carol in high school in Alaska. So sorry to hear of her passing. As the days and weeks go by, and as you return to normal routine, may you continue to be comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Carol was a good friend and neighbor. She was always working on her house, moving a wall, moving a kitchen just a few minor changes. She loved her children and take them on adventures, like the Micky Mouse pool at Atlanta Beach in North Carolina. Carol will be greatly missed.

I met Carol and Glenn in Germany and became friends right away. She helped me very much by watching Daniel at times for me from birth while in Zweibrucken Germany up until Daniel was in middle school in Las Vegas, NV which allowed me to work with no worries because I knew he would be safe and loved. Carol was very much his second Mama and spoiled him. I am truly grateful and blessed for knowing Carol and having her in my life for this short time. Daniel and I will truly miss her very much. She is now with Glenn; she is in no pain, is happy and smiling down at all of us! May she RIP!
Carol and I became family when her daughter, Jennifer, and my son, Steve, married. Her sweet, loving, and gentle spirit were evident from the start. We had not known each other long, yet she welcomed me into her home as though we had been friends for years. We enjoyed going out to lunch, and "venti" coffees as well as sharing our life stories. Carol, I will miss you and will cherish our friendship always.
Carol was our aunt and one of the kindest and most generous people we knew. She was so thoughtful and she ended all our conversations with "Auntie loves you all", which made us all smile. She was also quite talented at sewing and crafting, and we cherish the beautiful quilts she made for both our daughters.
It was easy to see just how much she loved her family and how proud she was of her adorable grandkids. Carol will be missed immensely by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a genuine smile that lit up a room. We love you Auntie and you will be in hearts forever.
I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs Alessandro sounds an amazing lady who lived life to the full, loved life and her family. May you rest in peace,
I met Carol over 30 yes ago..and her and Glenn were stationed at Norton AFB and they were managers over the apt. Complex Christina. was still lil andCarol was pregnant with Jennifer. Carol was like a second mom to my daughter Kelly. She was the sweetest lady. I will miss her so much.she would keep me company on the computer on nights I couldn't sleep because I was sick from my chemo that day and we would play a game. Now she's resting with the Angels.I will miss youm
I remember Carol in my 3rd grade class. She frequently wore her hair in high pig tails. She almost always had a smile on her face.
Our class was in a quonset hut. That year our teacher's husband was lost in a small plane accident and President Kennedy was assasinated. I believe that spring was the big earthquake. We all had to get the tb test and polio vaccine. We were off of school for a few days.
I used to sell her mom Girl Scout Cookies. Carol and Sharon would get their money out of their piggy banks!
We road the same school bus and remained in school together until she moved to CO.
It was great to see her several years ago when she came to AK for a visit. A sweet, compassionate and thoughtful soul.
Her family will have so many memories to help them thru this time of separation. They are indeed fortunate to have been in her life!
My heart goes out to Carol's family. We grew up together until they moved to Colorado. Carol came up for a visit several years ago when Sharon was here. It was like they had never left. It was fun catching up and visiting. I'm glad she's no longer in pain. God must have needed his angel back.
Carol was my high school friend . A loving soul even then. You will be missed. Please hear our prayers Oh Lord, for Peace and comfort to Carol's beloved family.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life and family when I married Guiseppe! I appreciate all the love and everything you have done for me and Ava! Love you and miss you!
No more pain. You are set free of your cancer. Love to the wonderful family.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Carol and her family while living in Germany. She was one of the first friends I had. She was always loving, kind and willing to help all her friends in need. I live on the east coast and will not be able to attend. I will miss her so much. She will always live in my heart. God Bless her family. Love to you all.
