Carol was one of the many residents that never left me after I left the job at emeritus senior living. She was such a sweet lady, and really enjoyed seeing her everyday at work. Rest in peace sweet Carol.
Rick, I received your card today and I am so saddened to hear of Carol's passing. My heart goes out to you and Sue Ann. Carol was such a sweet and lovely person. She just made me laugh and I enjoyed so much being around her and the times we shared. I am sure she is in heaven with her parents. My many thoughts and prayers are with you and Sue Ann.
My first recollection of Carol Sue is from Walnut Hills Elementary. Shortly after moving to town and joining our school, she became sick in class one day and was taken down to the office where she was placed in a bed in the nurses room outside Mrs. Terry's office; to await her parent's arrival to take her home.
I remember passing the office at recess and looking in to see her. She was sitting up in the bed, shrouded in white sheets, with her long, golden hair framing her little face. To me, she looked like an Angel, literally.
Though, we continued in school together through our Sr. year and also attended youth fellowship at First Methodist Church where we shared many wonderful experiences on trips and work projects, I will always remember her as a Precious Angel. Which is exactly what she was and I have no doubt, what she will always be.
Prayers of Peace and Comfort to all her family and friends.
I know God has welcomed Carol onto his loving arms. I have nothing but fond memories of her. My heart goes out to her family.

Sincere condolences to Carol's family and many friends who will miss her. She was loved and highly respected by her Lee High School classmates. She was the secretary of the junior class and vice president of the senior class ('76), and served her school with grace and professionalism. May she rest in peace.
I had the privilege of meeting Carol many years ago when she visited her sister, Ann, in Wyoming. She was truly a woman of grace, and I know how much she will be missed by her family and friends. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to have spent a brief time with her and will never forget how she lit up the world around her. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. She is now in the arms of God and her precious parents.
My sympathy to the family for a fine young woman. We enjoyed a great trailer camping trip to Gatlinburg one summer with the Hedgecocks, had some wonderful laughs. Carol was a delightfully happy person and was always smiling. We are lucky to have had her for all these years. God bless.

Knowing Carol is in heaven, free of pain and suffering, and with her parents must be a comfort. There is little anyone can do to take away the pain you and Sue Ann must be feeling at this time, but know that we are praying for you both. Much love to you, the Hamiltons
