Cathy was a good friend of my mother and she also was great to me. I remember her coming to our house often to play bridge. So outgoing and fun. I have often thought of Cathy over the years since my mother passed away and we lost touch with so many of her friends. Cathy will always be remembered by me since she helped me with my French language classes in school. My thoughts and prayers to the Cole family.
Dear Stephen, Samantha and Jason,
Kenia and I would like to offer are most sincere condolences for the loss of your wife and mother. Although we lived so far away from each other we kept our friendship alive, specially through the exchange of yearly Xmas letters. In our early Columbia U. years Cathy always kept our parties alive with her personality and happiness. We will miss her very much. A huge hug to all of you.
Cathy and I shared 50 years of friendship. As Hemingway wrote about Paris, I write about Cathy. "If you are lucky to have known Cathy Hennrich Cole, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, she remains with you for she is a moveable feast."
Dear Sam and Kelley,
As the service draws near, I think of you both. I am sorry I cannot gather with you and others on this beautiful evening. My thoughts are with you, and with your family.
Love and peace.
Cathy was an extraordinary woman who will be missed by all of us who knew and cared for her. She was kind and considerate to all. Her sharp intellect kept us attentive to what she was saying as there was always truth and accuracy in its content. My thoughts are with Steve, Jason and Samantha as they try to cope with the loss of dear Cathy. Ernie Abate
My memories of her were always cheery and fun. I remember her stories of foreign travels, her curiosity, and intelligence. She lived a storied and fulfilling life. To Steve and the family, I am saddened by her passing, my thoughts are with you.
Stephen, Sam and Jason, we are so sorry for your loss. Cathy had a difficult time with her illness, but, you can remember her the way she was when she was actively involved in life. She apparently was an intelligent woman and someone to be proud of. We, too, hope that she will rest in peace, free of such terrible pain. We send our best wishes that you will find solace and peace in knowing that her suffering has ended. Love, Joyce and Rich Vertz
Dear Steve, Samantha, and Jason:
Cathy was a vibrant, articulate, and fun person to be around. My thoughts are with you. I used to babysit Samantha and Jason during our joint tenure in SLC and Cathy made me feel like a member of the family. We have in common our love for the French culture, language, and cuisine. She was a class act.
As neighbors, we appreciated all her service to our neighborhood and Stamford overall. This included her service to the Fairfield Woods Association, loving tending of the flowers are Lolly Lane and faithful dedication to the Food Bank. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cole Family. -- The Kramer-Zimmerman's

I so loved Cathy. She helped keep my sanity while we lived in SLC. I have such fond memories of Cathy, Steve & the 2 wonderful young people that you two allowed me to take care of while you skied on Utah's fine snow.
Take care all of you--I love you.
Jason and Family, We are truly sorry for your loss and offer our condolences

Steve - no words can even come close to providing you with comfort in that hole in your heart you now have. You and Cathy had something special that most people only dream about. Our thoughts and prayer go out to you and your family. Love Jim and Thais Flahety
In 1996, Cathy was a founding member of our French group, the Cafe Franco-americain, and she gave it stability as other members came and went. We appreciated her lively, curious mind, and her gracious hospitality when we met in her home. She will be missed. Our thoughts are with Steve at this very sad time.
Deepest sympathy to Cathy's family at this difficult time. I knew her only for the last few years of her life, through the Alliance Française. I always admired the stoic way she bore her illness.
Our condolences to you and your family.
We have had fond memories with you and Cathy at the Bartlett concerts.

My thoughts and much love Sam.
My heart goes out to all of you in this difficult time.
I send you my deepest sympathy.
I will remember Cathy for all the good times we had talking about gardens and good wine and food and her little notebook where she entered each new French word she heard. I will miss her.
