As a corporal in the Canadian Air force, was based in Montreal for the first nine months of 1962. My wife Doris and daughters Debbie, Marj, Karen and Lori (born there) participated in the same congregation as the Branch'es. They were wonderful to us. They made us feel as important to them as any other of their many friends and acquaintances. They have always been included in our fondest of memories and all of our friends over the years know it. To Sylvia and the four boys that we knew, your husband and father was a wonderful human being in so many ways, a huge positive blessing to everyone. Thank You!
Sylvia, we are sad to hear that Dr. Branch has passed away, but rejoice that he has won the victory and has gone home to the Father. Although it has been many years since we have seen you, we have very fond memories of the times we shared with your family in Montreal. May God bless you all!
Sylvia, We have such fond memories of our time in Montreal with you and Charles and the young children. Our work goes on there. You and Charles and the family have been a blessing to so many people through the years.
Our love and condolences to you and the family.

I only met Dr. Branch once, and not in his medical role. I was managing a local stereo store in the late 70's/early 80's, and Dr. Branch purchased a car stereo for his Mercedes (I think the car model is correct, but it's been a long time). He came by to pick up his car & asked if I'd drive it home following him & he'd take me back to the store. I could tell that he was a very intelligent man, and one of those people who had more going on in his mind than he could convey. He was on to his next thought before he finished talking about the matter at hand! I told him before we left that his car was very low on gas, but after he looked at it, he said it should make it. Well, it did not, and I ran out of gas on Loop 410 right in front of MacArthur Park! Dr. Branch circled back around after he saw me stop and seemed amazed that the car had actually run out of gas. I had to laugh! Being very kind, he took me back to my store & refused to let me help him get some gas & the car. I guess he finally got it home OK! I still remember this funny story after all these years! What an intelligent & kind man who left quite an impression on me!
I have fine memmories of Dr Branch as a nice neighbor and consultant to my patients.

Dear Mrs. Branch, Cynthia and Don, and Dr. Warren Branch, I have such fond memories of Dr. Branch and your family in all of my years of worshipping at Mac Arthur Park as a young person. I will miss the warm greeting Dr. Branch always extended, remembering my name among so many that he knew. God's love and care to you all.
My late husband, Don was a deacon under Charles at the MacArthur Church in San Antonio. We are so blessed to having known both he and Sylvia. and the association of their children with ours. Though our lives parted a few years later,, I knew he would be a renowned surgeon, and make great strides in finding ways to help others. MY deepest sympathy to Sylvia and their wonderful family. I will always remember the influence you had on our lives. Love to all..
My condolences to the Branch family. The staff at Brown Retina Institute will dearly miss him.
My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I did not have the opportunity to meet Dr Branch personally. Dan was a school mate who I recall showing respect and dignity to all. A trait, I am sure, he learned from his father. Upon reading Dr Branch's beautifully written obituary, I learned another gentleman of honor is part of the extended Branch family, Dr Donald Adams. Dr Branch leaves a truly honorable legacy.
We offer our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to all of the family at this time of your loss. Dr. Branch was a very fine man and neighbor. He will be truly missed by many.
I was deeply saddened upon reading of Dr Branch's passing. He was such a fine Christian man, and an extraordinary physician to all those entrusted to his care. I have many fond memories of him during my years at the Methodist Hospital, especially those spent caring for the children on Pediatrics.
He leaves behind a wonderful loving family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.

Charlie, Joe and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. We are praying that you and your family find strength and comfort in your time of loss. While we can't be with you physically, know that we are with you in mind and spirit. May God bless you all,
Dr Branch helped me by referring his personal physician. Ever the Christian servant, he will be sorely missed for decades to come.
It has been a privilege to be your next door neighbors for a short period of time. Sorry that we did not have the chance to get to know Charles better as he truly was a remarkable person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,Sylvia, and your family.
Dr. Branch and his devoted wife Sylvia were wonderful examples of service to all who knew them. Dr. Branch was a special blessing to IHCF African Christian Hospitals, having visited the Nigerian Christian Hospital a number of times with founder, Dr. Henry Farrar. Together they performed many complicated, life saving surgeries, the likes of which many had never seen in that rural setting. Dr. Branch fell in love with this ministry and became a member of the board of trustees, serving faithfully until his health prevented. We all came to love and respect Dr. Branch and Sylvia, and we extend our love and condolences to Sylvia and to the entire family. May God bless you and comfort you all.

My family knew the Branch family many years ago at MacArthur Park Church of Christ. Charles and Sylvia were both very kind and loving to my parents. Charles lived a strong Christian life...setting the example for all of us. He helped many people in their lives deal with spiritual and physical barriers. We honor his life on earth and look forward to seeing him in Heaven.
Barbara and I mourn your loss but rejoice with the victory and crown of life Charles has won. He will be long remembered and dearly missed. We pray for God's blessings for you all.
