Bernice, There isn't any words that will weaken the pain. I'm hoping that God will let you celebrate his day of finally letting go and head toward the new home, You are the prime example of a dedicated wife till the last moment. I watched the video and there are photos in it that were so touching that makes me want to work toward what you and buddy had in your relationship you worked hard helping Buddy and please get some help and rest for yourself. I will continue to write but don't worry to write back, just want you to know you're in my thoughts. I love you MawMaw,my sweet lil' friend May God please give you some comfort every day. It's nice to know that you have PawPaw as an angel now watching over you. I Love You jo

I am so sorry to hear that Buddy passed away. I have May happy memories of visiting next door and going to hear him play his music. I have thought about him over the years, as I think about the entire family. Cherish the memories. May our God of peace and love comfort you during this time of loss.

Dear Lee, when you have a close relationship with a grandparent the love you feel runs deep into your soul. he raised you as his son. I am so grateful that your boys spent time with him and got to receive some of the love that you did. I guess one of the nicest things he ever did for me was to love my daughter; that was a love that was true and genuine. I pray that each day a little pain and sorrow can be replaced with a little joy. Lord Bless You Ms. Jo

It's been so many years since we worshipped with Buddy and Bernice at Sulphur Church. Oh, yes, I remember what a muscian he was, and how he loved to play and sing with Jim Brasher, JImmy Petross, and others. He also wired our house that we built in Sulphur. My husband, Don, who knew Buddy so well has preceded him in death on Jan. 31, 2013,, age 82. We will all sing together again one of these days. MY deepest sympathey to you and your family... our cherished memories will last forever. Love, Sammie Bell

Bernice, Gene, Scott, Tina and family,
I am sorry for your loss. Buddy was a great friend to our family. We missed the Brooks family after moving away. I am thinking about you and praying for peace at this difficult time. I enjoyed fishing and playing music with Buddy. He was always encouraging and a great guy. He'll join my father and others who've gone on before.
Psalms 23
Sincerely,
