I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
Dorothy and family,
I'm very sorry for Dean's passing. I pray that your memories will provide comfort in the coming days, months, and years. The greater the life, the greater the pain.
God bless you during this difficult time and in the days to come.
Dorothy and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I last saw Dean and John when they came to Mac's memorial gathering in Des Moines in the fall of 1997. Dean truly did have a great smile and contagious laughter that I will always remember. My prayers to you and your family at this time.
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Dean was a schoolmate and basketball teammate. We even shared some time riding the school bus. Dean could make me laugh, just with HIS laugh!! May you take some solace in knowing that he was a friend to everyone who knew him.
Dorothy, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Dorothy, we were so sorry to learn of your loss. We have fond memories of the Allison family. Clyde & Fern were great neighbors. In working back & forth with them and visiting, it was pretty obvious that Deanie and his family were the light of their life, Ron & Marilyn Wilson
Please accept my sincere sympathy. I know this is a difficult time. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Guy's like Deanie only come along once in a lifetime. He had a infectious smile and laugh and had the ability to make friends in any crowd. I went to school and graduated with Deanie and had occasion to run around with him, he was a blast. My deepest condolences to his family and friends for their loss.

I am sorry to hear of Dean's passing. I knew him in school in Corydon. He always had a smile for everyone. Good guy.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Dean and I were classmates all the way through our years at Corydon. We were teammates in basketball and football. We won together and lost together. He was always a true sportsman and never forgot his class and roots in Corydon.

Dean was a very special guy and will be dearly missed. KR and Dean shared many a fun time in the college years, going to the Iowa Hawkeye games, Drake relays, and just being with friends and family. I'll always remember sharing our honeymoon trip to Hawaii with Dean and Dorothy. What fun! Thinking of you all during this sad time.
I enjoyed acquaintance with Dean at the "Friday Afternoon Club." When he attended, a cheerful, good time filled with laughter and joviality was certain, and Dean provided much of the spark for that enjoyment. I'm grieved to learn of Dean's passing. My prayers will seek to lift him to the Holy and seek comfort and peace from the same source for those grieving Dean's too early exit. God's peace.
I was saddened to hear of Dean's passing. He was a wonderful friend. We met as he followed the Des Moines Bombers and fastpitch softball. We shared many a story and libation. Those times and his personable demeanor are missed. May God bless Dean and be with his family at this time of remembrance.
Dorothy, Mickey and Cory: I am thinking of you at this sad & difficult time. I always enjoyed Dean's company and conversation. We liked competing at the Elks in the game of Jeopardy which he almost always won. His trips with Cory to AZ for spring training and having Mickey join him at the club for a vodka cocktail were among his favorite times. This memo is in memory of a great guy! Michael McMurry
So sorry for your loss. We dated throughout high school. He loved life and having a good time with friends; always laughing and happy. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. With my deepest sympathy.....Joan Snyder Jarvis, Sun City, AZ.
I'm truly sorry for your loss! I first met Dean on the basketball court in the 7th grade, along with Hook, Lohr, Sellers and others I don't recall. I went to school in Centerville and we played Corydon in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. (they beat us I think all three years). I to went to CCC at the same time and we became friends, as most of the 200 or so kids were friends. We were a good bunch of kids who enjoyed each other. I'll never forget Dean's infectious laugh and his ever present grin.My condolences to all of your family, may God be with you. Jerry Power, Centerville Community College class of 1966.
Sorry for you loss. Dean was a good man. I played baseball with him several years. He always showed good sportsmenship.
