My heart goes out to the entire family.. i can see how the passing of grandpa great has affected us all. We find comfort in knowing our kohen will carry on the Atwood name..and not only his name but his personality, love, patience and kindess that clyde passed down to David and jason. Kohen is a spitting image of all three of them ;o) Kohen loved his grandpa great very much. he was always interested in what he was doing...;o) I'm sadden that we didn't have more time together..and that Kohen won't get to grow up and know him in the way we all do and love. We promise to keep his memory alive..and take him with us on our journey ;0) we will tell Kohen all about his grandpa great...just as we will about his "mamaw in heaven" ;o) I can only imagine the worry you must have had in your last few days.. Mostly for Jean..I'm sure. She is so wonderful in every way and I hate this so much for her.. She has always been there for me after losing my mom and her friend and there isn't enough thank yous for all she has done... I promise to do all I can to help her through this ;o) We love you so much grandpa great!

Love, Jason, Denise and Kohen

My dad was the greatest dad a daughter could have. He taught me so much. He was a very patient man and taught me patience, kidness and honesty and so much more. He loves all of our family very much. We will always love him and miss him so much. I want to be just like him and make him proud Love you always DAD Love KIM

I am so thankful to have had Clyde in my life. He was an amazing man with a heart of gold and a soul so full of life. I learned in the last few days of his life how strong he was, his body may have weakened but his soul, the very part that makes you and I who we are, stayed solid. His legacy lives on in each and every one of us because there is not a single soul out there that he did not touch. His great grandchildren may not always remember every detail of who "grandpa great" was, however we will always tell his story because he is a man that shall never be forgotten.

We love you Grandpa Great!
