Professor Karmody was the extern examiner for six years for the Human Diseases Programme of the School of Dentistry, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of the West Indies. Firm, but always fair, he was generous with his expertise and keen to contribute to the development of the land of his birth. On behalf of his colleagues at the San Fernando General Hospital we extend our deepest sympathies to his family.
Don and I were so saddened when we heard of Collin's passing last week. I know how your heart must ache so deeply right now, but there WILL come a day when you'll be thinking of something that Collin said or did, and you'll realize that you have a tiny, little smile on your face and THAT WILL warm your heart. He'll always be with you, Pat. What a kind, warm and gentle man he was. Collin will be missed in Carolina Place. You and your family will be in our prayers. Please know we care and will always be here for you.
Don and Donna Summers

Dearest Pat and Family:
For I am in Chicago and Naomi is in Washington, we cannot attend this service.
Simply for our entire family:
Colin was a great and, most importantly, good man. Our children still remember going to that house overlooking Morse's Pond, watching Colin attempting to heat it, busting in on you after an early Sunday trip to the Stoneham Zoo and having you over for Thanksgiving. Growing old is not for the faint of heart and Colin did it with class and panache and in the arms of this amazing woman whom he adored and loved as we do.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you is this time and beyond,
The Rosenberg Family
Dear Pat, Our hearts were saddened upon hearing of Collin's passing. Our prayers are for peace for you and your family at this time.

Dear Karmody Family:
My mother just shared the news of Collin's passing. He and my father, Werner Chasin, were friends and colleagues for many years at Tufts NEMC and our families spent time together when I was younger. I have many fond memories of his dashing good looks, stentorian voice, and hearty laugh. My condolences to you all.

Collin was my mentor and dear friend. I turned to him for advice on difficult cases. He looked after a number of my patients and they all remember him for his caring nature especially towards patients from Trinidad. You will be sorely missed. Rest in peace.
