Having known Grant from the time he was a Second Lieutenant through Lieutenant Colonel I enjoyed knowing him as both a friend and a commander. I am truly saddened to hear of his passing.
My Condolances to the Family and Friends of Grant. I was fortunate enough to have shared many smiles with Grant through High school and after. I wish you all well in this time of grief and I shall hold on to the memorys of old as he will not be forgotten.
Mere words can hardly express my sadness. Grant was a wonderful man, always willing to share his expertise with me. Know that you can count on your loving family and friends to share a laugh or a memory.

Dearest Friends, I was so sad to hear about the loss of Grant today. It's such a shock to us all. As a young officer, I worked closely with Grant as a member of the RRAC II and R&R Command. He was a good mentor and friend to many of us. later, while working as the G1 and COS in Delaware, I became friends with Marianne, who also is a top Soldier and mentor.
