Dear Lisa,

I am so sorry for your loss; I can certainly feel your pain. Although it's dfficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. Lean on those around you as much as you need, let them help see you through it. I am here for you as well, true friends are never apart, maybe in distance, but not in heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Lisa,

Thank you for sending the link for your mom's memorial site. Your note to your mom was very touching. In your heart you know you were always there for her no matter how difficult some times were. And know that she too very much loved and appreciated everything you did. I know you will miss her dearly and it will take time, but you have to hold onto all the memories - that's what will get you through the rough days.

Love,
Vinnie

Dearest Elissa,

So fortunate you were to have been able to be so close to your mother and be her companion after your father had passed. You were the one person who enabled your mom to live such a wonderful long life in Florida. Having you by her side was her eternal light which kept her glowing with happiness. You are fabulous, commendable and most dedicated. I should be so lucky to have someone like you by my side as I age. Our prayers are with you always. As for mom, my dear Aunt Connie, she was a fantastic lady - maintained unity with her family - happiness at her dinner table and smiles and laughter so contagious which we all enjoyed. Aunt Connie will be missed but she will also be at peace with Uncle Nickie and Kathy. I am glad you made the right choices not to have mom suffer. She went quietly in peace. We love you and Aunt Connie!!

Hi Lisa,

I'm so very sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. It is very hard, especially being as close as you were with her. You probably heard it a thousand times by now, but time does help heal the pain. Lisa, you were a wonderful daughter and took very, very good care of her and that always helps, not having any regrets. Your Mom was a wonderful person and I always enjoyed being with her when we lived in Richmond Hill. She had an upbeat attitude and was always on the go. She really did enjoy life and especially enjoyed her family. When I was with you and your Mom, I could see and feel the love between you. Yes, you were her Angel. When I went through the loss of my Mom & Dad, it helped me a lot to think of the happy and good times we had together. I always tried to think of the funny things that happened and yes, it did make me smile. It helps to mourn and you need that, but remember your Mom would not want you to be sad. If I can do anything, if you just need to talk, please let me know. What would be a good time to call you? Are you still working? Please keep in touch and I have you in my prayers.

Lisa, I'm so glad to hear you have people around to help you, but even though I'm in NY, I'm here for you.

Take care of yourself and please keep in touch.

Love & Peace,
Barbara

Hi Lisa,
I'm really sorry that you are going through this very difficult time with your mother
I know she's been ill for a long time and you have been right there for her everyday.
It's difficult to watch a loved one suffer no matter how small their illness may be.
You have been a wonderful caregiver to her and I know she appreciates all you have done for her.
You've given so much of yourself and she knows that.
Hearing her state of illness, she has surpassed the level of a "quality" life.
It's always such a difficult decision for those left behind, but one that is only the "fair or right thing" to do for your loved one.
I hope you will find comfort that you are helping her to reach a state of "comfort" so that she does not suffer any longer.
You will always have her love and guidance and all the memories that you have made together.
May God Bless you and Aunt Connie.
Love Debbie and Family

Dearest Lisa, My deepest condolences on the passing of your very special Mama. I cherish the memories of visiting Connie and you with your sister, Kathryn, and how warmly I was always greeted. She made me feel that I was part of her family -- her unique sense of humor, sweet kindness and generous ways are only a smal part of what made her so very wonderful. May you find comfort in knowing that she is in heaven as one of God's most beautiful angels.

To our dearest Aunt Connie,
Memories of visiting your home in New York flash through my mind. Wow! You always had some of the best desserts around! Family united is how I remember it! Your daughters Kathy (RIP) & Elissa, both so wonderful, and Uncle Nickie, who we love and miss terribly - now you have passed to be with your daughter Kathy & your husband Nickie. Don't worry about Elissa, she is in good hands - we all love her and will watch over her. Go in peace knowing you have accomplished being a wonderful sister, wife, mother and aunt. Now it is time to rest. We will always remember you and keep you in our prayers.

We were saddened to hear that Aunt Connie passed away. Things like this always bring up memories and they are good ones. Aunt Connie always had good positive things to say. She always had a smile on her face and wanted to please all that came in contact with her. And, how 50 people could show up at her house at anytime, and she could feed them all.....1, 2, 3, without missing a step! We remember how much she LOVED to shop. We recalled a conversation we had with her...she visited Uncle Frank and Aunt Irma in Florida, and she would seek out places to shop for the "specials" and would pack them up to bring them home to New York!

Aunt Connie loved and cherished her family and friends, and although we still live "up north", she will be sorely missed.

We love you all and miss you. Our prayers are with you always.

My Dearest Mama,
I will miss you more than my simple words could ever express. Besides being my mother, you were my best friend and companion. I enjoyed just being with you and loved traveling with you, our shopping excursions and especially eating out together. You always took the best care of me in sickness and in health and helped me whenever you could without hesitation. You always told me that you loved me with all your heart and that I was your angel and I felt that your love never wavered. In the end I tried to take care of you the best way that I could. Even though it could never equal or even compare with what you have done for me throughout my life, I hope that in some small way I was comforting and helpful to you. May the Blessed Mother and the angels guide you quickly to heaven where you most certainly belong. I will love and miss you for all eternity and hope that some day we will be reunited together with Daddy and Kathy,
