Connie was such a beautiful person, she was so instrumental in help American Legion Riders Chapter 7 complete so many of our missions. She was always there to help a veteran, insuring that no veteran or their families go unnoticed. She will be missed by the Veteran community, we love you Connie.
I met Connie 42 years ago in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where our husbands worked together. She talked me into joining a bowling league and quckly became my best friend, my mentor, and as a unsure scared new mother, a terrific role model sent by God. She gave me a nick name that only she used and God only knows where it came from...Carol Sue Ann Marie! She had a way of filling that silly nick name with so much love every time she said it. Life took us in different directions - Connie north to IN and me west to TX but she remained a loving friend. She blessed my life in an extraordinary way again last month when she flew me to IN to enjoy an in-person visit after over 20 years of not seeing each ofther. God is good! He gave me that precious time with her to now cherish in my heart. I will miss her and thank God that He brought her into my life!! Carol Sue Ann Marie l

I met Connie many years ago through my mother (Linda Bair Fravel). We bowled with her at Oak Lanes and had some wonderful times together before and after our bowling league. She was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. She always had a kind word, hug or smile every time I saw her, and she would always ask me How is your mom?, and tell her I said Hi. We are sorry for your loss and send our deepest sympathies to you all in your time of sorrow.

At a moment like this silence seems to be the only expression that fits. What can we,as mere men,say to a grieving and shattered heart? We speak today because we have a living hope. Death is no respector of persons.Death is no respector of youth. Death is a painful intruder and a pernicious reminder of our human condition. But I stand before you today to declare that we have a living hope and that causes us to rejoice greatly. You see, our hope today is found in the fact that Jesus is no longer entombed. He lives. And because he lives,Connie lives. Because he lives, the grieving broken heart has hope and reason to rejoice.
You will be in our hearts forever! We will miss you, rest in peace! Love you always, GGM! Colleen (Casey), Tommy, Megan, and Kevin Brophy
You have our deepest sympathy. She will be greatly missed.
