I only met Connie once in 1968 when she and her father and mother came over to the UK to see her father's sister (my grandmother). She was amazingly kind to a little boy and sent over many books during my childhood like the "What a Jolly Street" stories and Brad Forrest Calgary Adventures. I'm very sorry not to have found her again in life but am glad she had such good friends
The members and board of the Open Door Senior Fellowship of Calgary would like to let the family of Connie Greenwood know how much Connie contributed in volunteer hours to the on going program and office duties of our downtown senior's centre. She volunteered cheerfully when called upon, many times on short notice. She will be remembered fondly by many older members.
