Cori used to ask when she would feel "normal" again. Little did she know we never saw her any other way - - it was a joy and honor to know her. She brought out the best in every person she knew. God love you all.
So sorry for your loss, sorry I couldn't be there. Your photo gallery is wonderful! It's been a rough month for us all. Love Amy, John, and Johnny Krajewski (Triska)
So very sorry to hear of the passing of Cori! Cori and I were "orchestra" pals as we both pretended to play the violin! :)
Cori was always silly, funny, and smiley! I'm sure you know all this! No one deserves to lose their life at such a young age BUT I do know this- anyone that knew Cori surely won't ever forget her! Her life may have been cut way to short BUT in that short life she probably made more people smile and more friends than most will in a long life time! I hope her children will always remember her and smile! She may be gone BUT may her memories be for a blessing! May she live on in the smilies of her children! I'll always remember Cori because of that smile!
We are so very sorry sorry to hear of Cori's passing. She was an amazing person. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. --The Martin Family
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.
I was saddened to hear of Cori's passing. I ran with her in highschool. She was always friendly, smiling, fun. May you begin to be comforted by all the good memories. My deepest sympathies.
To the Family of Miss Cori, as she will always be remembered by her students and parents. Cori was my daughter's preschool teacher about 24 years ago at Kidde Kollege in Highland Heights. To say that the children adored her would be an understatement! When I contacted my daughter, who now lives in England, with the news of Cori's passing, she burst out crying and said," Mom, when I was have trouble napping, Miss Cori always would scratch my back- I loved her!" We all did. I knew when I dropped my child off, Miss Cori would be keeping her safe! A beautiful soul left this earth and many memories behind, May you, her family, cherish the memories and know how much Cori was loved. God Bless you all.

So sorry to hear that Cori lost her valiant fight. I have known Cori since we went to Ridgebury Elementary School. We became friends instantly even though she was a year younger than me. We were always laughing when we were together...what a fun person! It is no surprise to see what an impact she made on all of her students. She definitely made her mark in this world. Your entire family is in my prayers and will continue to be as you heal. God bless you all.

You were the best preschool teacher a mother could ask for... Your happiness and enthusiasm could be seen through the hallways. You were given a gift and our children were privileged to be taught by you... An amazing beautiful person inside and out. Thank you for being you.. You give us all strength through your fight... You will be truly remembered by your endless smile:)

The whole Lipic Family is saddened by this loss. But, oh my we have some great memories of your visit this summer into the land of "corn and soybeans." And we will remember your visit forever. Was that fun or what. . . Let 's go to Darcy's Pint and have another horseshoe - or did we have the pony? We were so hungry after the Lincoln Museum - and then shopping at Scheeles. Cori is my BFF. . . .I could talk heart to heart with her and I am deeply sad. Love to all of you and we can hardly wait to get together again.
Your loving Aunt Ruth Ann
The joy Cori had for life and working with children was a blessing for all that knew her. I was sorry to hear she passed and my thoughts and prayers are with her family. Laura Berger

Tom and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers are with you.
I will miss Cori. She was a wonderful neighbor & friend--Always pleasant to see out in the yard "gabbing" with the neighbors, & always willing to lend a hand--I especially remember one time when her & Samantha helped me pick-up my motorcycle after I had dropped it in the driveway.
My condolences go out to all. May God rest her soul, & let her suffer no more.
I just wanted to share this...My husband and I only had the pleasure of meeting Cori just once....this past October as our boys, both freshmen at NDCL, attended a pre-Homecoming Dance party at a friend's house. I remember leaving the party and commenting to my husband on what a super nice couple the Laffeys were and how much fun it was going to be to get to know each of them more as our boys went through high school together. My heart is saddened by the loss of Cori and that her family grieves for her. It's so very obvious from the posts here that she was a truly special soul who touched and inspired many!! For me to be touched by her death after having only met her briefly says so much about her!! Our prayers to her family for peace and strength at this difficult time. God will comfort you and one day restore your joy until that day when you will see her again.
Our deepest sympathy to your entire family and everyone who ever had the honor to meet and know Cori. She has a special place in all of our hearts. We will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Love to all!!

Please accept my most heartfelt and deepest sympathy. Cori touched my family in so many ways. As a friend to my son and daughter-in-law; teacher to my grandchildren, fan for any of school events and this year chauffeuring my grandson, Bill, back and forth to NDCL with Tommie. During our interactions I always found Cori's strength and resilience inspirational. I am so very sorry for your loss. Leah Wanke

My heart is with all of you during this time, truly believing her time was predetermined to love and guide and laugh with the baby angels from connecticut. I had the honor and priviledge of calling Cori my dear friend in high school and at Kent State. We shared so many fond memories together. Not only was she beautiful on the outside but she was just as beautiful on the inside. I am so sorry for your loss but please take comfort in knowing that Cori will always be with you, watching over you. For an angel like Cori, could never stay away from the ones she loves.
My deepest sympathy to the whole family on this terrible loss. I wish I had words to offer more comfort to you all. I'm so very sorry.
Cori was my daughter's very first preschool teacher at SPB. My then 4 year old thought Cori got her last name because she was always laughing..."Mrs. Laffy." Cori will be missed by many, but I bet if we listen closely, we will still hear her laughing.
Our prayers and condolences to Cori's family. She was the first teacher my children had and set the bar high for all those who've followed. She was warm and loving and will be missed. Rest in peace, Cori.
My thoughts and prayers are with Cori's family and friends. I had the pleasure of making her aquaintance and assisting in her care at Seidman. She was an amazing person and always thoughtful. May God give you comfort in this time of bereavement.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Cori was such an inspiration and fought a difficult fight with grace. May God Bless you all and offer you the strength you will need in the upcoming days.
