I am so sorry for the Blake Family's loss of George. I remember a fun loving little boy living across the street from us in California playing with his sisters and friends from daybreak until after dusk.
I feel honored to have known George, he was a great person, very caring, I enjoyed working with him.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Your all in my Prayers at this difficult time if their is anything I can do for you please call. God Bless
What a wonderful friend. Have many fond memories of our time spent together in High School. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and close friends during this time remembrance and spiritual healing.
I had the pleasure of knowing George for many years in Spokane. He was a great man and a great father. My son and I saw him playing basketball with Erin many times in Liberty Lake. May you rest in peace and God bless your family. Ron Erkens (Phoenix, AZ)

George...my co-worker, my go-to pharmacist, my friend. Always my friend. I made you promises that I would always be here for you and that I would never betray your trust. You could tell me anything. I felt honored to deserve your friendship and your trust. Nothing changes now. You're still my friend and the talks we had will still remain just between us. Someday we will meet again and we will be able to share our secrets and inside jokes once again. I want an encore of the full dance routine to the entire song of "Ice, Ice Baby" and I was promised a second verse to the Monkey Song. I waited every year for the 4th of July, which is when I was supposed to get that next verse. And there was the new song that I barely got to hear only one time...Be prepared with all of this for when we meet again. I will honor you always by being here for those special loved ones left behind. I will miss your smile (and smirk), your sense of humor, your quick whit, and the special twinkle in your blue eyes.
The VA will never by the same without you. No one will ever fill that hole.
I pray that God's love and strength can comfort all during your tragic loss. Sending my heartfelt sympathy.

On the one hand ...George was one of the quietest, gentle and sincere people I have ever known...at the same time he was challeged by life to its fullest...I loved George..He was my friend..and I will miss him dearly..
Always a smile, always a gentle spirit... I'll always remember you that way. Peace and comfort to your family and friends.
George was a great friend and king person. I can not believe we lost him so early in live. My prayers go out to his family. George will be dearly missed.
George was loved by everyone! I have memories of many years of short home room discussions with George. Shy as he was then! Then years when he and Eric Newman ran around together including a motorcycle trip to myrtle beach during a hurricane! They shared a townhouse at Ohio state too with some others if I remember correctly. George was the "neat" one! Class of 77 is not the same without George. Praying for you all to feel God's loving arms around you as you go through this difficult time. Lydia Adams Newman 77. Olympia Washington

Until we meet again.... Love, Tracy and Mark Henderson
