Dear Laura and Family,
I am saddened to learn of Dan's death. As you know, he was a great friend and mentor to me for many years. Those years are some of my most cherished memories, and really doesn't seem that long ago. My heartfelt sympathy to each of you. Regretfully I was out of town at the time of his service.
Dear Laura and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow, but I know from experience that things will get better with each new day. Wish I could have seen you today at the services to give you a heartfelt hug, but do want you to know that I am here when and if you need a shoulder to lean on. With my deepest sympathy, Betty James

My husband and I knew Dan as a neighbor and a friend. We found him to be so very gracious and a delight to be around. We have fond memories of him and pray that his family knows the joy he brought to many many people.

Dan was a great mentor, friend, and fine attorney, he tolerated my many errors and laughed roundly. His
attendance to detail and constant care for others was a trait we should all strive to emulate. Carol and I always delighted in seeing him and we hope his arrival in Heaven is all he expected and so much more. May God's good words comfort the family and bring you peace. Robert & Carol Key

Mr Felts was a great man. To me he was one of the super men whom I idolized from a young age. Knowing his name prior to meeting him I expected him to be something akin to royalty, but after meeting him realizing him to be fun, outgoing, approachable and compassionate especially for his dog. Our brief interactions impacted my life because I felt lucky to simply shake his hand and enjoyed the times I spent with him and my Grandfather George Roark out on the ranch. As well as the baseball game in Oakhill where it seemed every step was difficult for him to take, but he came to visit with us anyway. My condolences to the Felts family. Thanks Dan for the great times and all the things you did for me & my family. You will be missed.
Dear Felts Family,Please accept my deepest sympathy to all of you as you go through these sad days. I always considered it an honor and privilege to know all of you through the years I worked for your Dad's law firm. He was a great mentor and teacher to me, as well as a friend.
Please know that I will be praying for your family in the days ahead.
In friendship and sympathy, Janean Ferguson
