To the Family-I met Mr. Carreira at FMC and must say he was always the gentleman. Kind, caring, friendly, cheerful. No matter how he was feeling, he always had a smile and was appreciative. I am blessed to have known him.
We know that you are in the arms of Jesus today, and that's all that counts in life now. Pam and John Brown

Dear Debbie, Cheryl and family.
We were so sorry to learn of Dan's passing, but we know he is so happy to be reunited in heaven with Dot. Debbie and Cheryl you know you have always been like second daughters to us and we will always cherish the time we got to spend with you, Dan and your precious family at the beach. Know that our love and prayers are with you at this time. Love in Christ, Roger and Janis
Dan Carreira, was a great role model for all of us young people that grew up under his guidance and care. He sincerely cared for young people and always strived and succeeded to better himself and everyone he came in contact. May he now rest in peace and enjoy the treasures that he so richly deserves in heaven. The world will miss this man. Hope to see him again someday.
Mr. Carreira Staff and Patients at BRANDON DIALYSIS UNIT will miss you. WE ALL KNOW YOU HAVE ENTER IN HEAVEN AND WILL HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.
So sorry to hear about your lost. I had a great childhood growing up at Riverside Baptist Church. I have fond memories there being around his sons Joe and Danny. I can remember my mother and there mother sharing in the discipline of us and other children as well as other mother's at that era in time. When I look back on it, there was no greater time to be a kid. What a great inspiration their father was to all of us. When ever you saw him, he was always smiling, and always had something nice to say. You could tell he was always full of life , and was such a motivator , and had such a passion for the church, and was so enriched by family. What a lesson in life he was for all of us. I'm glad I had him in my life at an early age. Every time someone wants to talk about Riverside Baptist Church, I always bring up names I remember and Mr. Dan Carreira's name always comes up. I wanted to share. Ronald Chesser
Danny was a key employee at Acousti Engr. in the 50's & 60's. Our sympathy and prayers are with family.
A sweet and loving man has entered into the arms of God and His angels.
We will really miss Dad. He was such a wonderful man of God
Dan will be greatly missed. Yet, he will always be here in our hearts. Your father meant a great deal to me and helped me in a very troubling time when my father died. I will always remember him and the RA's at Riverside Baptist Church. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.
We are so sorry for the loss of Dan. You and your family are in our prayers. We have many fond memories of Dan as an educator and as a loving deacon. He was a great boss and loved his children very much-both his biological ones as well as his school children. We love your family and please know that you are not alone.
