Corey and I feel very blessed to have had Dan in our lives as long as we did. He was an amazing person with a great amount of wisdom he shared upon our lives. I cannot remember a time while visiting he was not smiling and laughing. He so loved living on the ranch with all the cattle. Hershey was always running at his side as though she believed she was protecting him. Dan was a man to be admired and respected. He taught us never to let life get us down but to enjoy it every day with the ones we love. He will be missed deeply. Yet his words echo in my ears as I write this, “I have lived a good live and have been blessed.”
It is an honor to be Dan's nephew. He would never fail to brighten the mood as soon as he entered the room. He once gave me a crushing hug of support, and I can still fell his strength today.
We are so sorry for your loss. Praying for God to surround each of you with His peace and comfort.
My Uncle Dan; always smiling and positive. I love the time we spent together this past year as my Dad (his brother) was in his last days. He was a great comfort to me. Mark 4:8 states: A farmer planted seed. Some fell on good earth and came up with a flourish, producing a harvest exceeding his wildest dreams.
Dan was my Uncle. He was "Uncle D.L." to me. I grew up idolizing him, he was my role model. My thoughts and prayer are with Dana and Trey.
Dan was an amazing person. He has been my landlord for several years in Granbury. Everytime he came by we enjoyed talking and he always had great advice. Prayers to your family in the loss of this great man.
Trey, we know this is a hard time for you and your family. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
We send our love and prayers to you and your family.
May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
