I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad was one of the finest men I ever knew. So kind and full of common sense, and not someone to get into a fight with either. Man he was a big fellow with a soft heart. He was good looking too I always thought. Very handsome, just like yourself.
Guess what, I'm playing hand bells again at the 1st Christian Church. Wish you were around here so you could come join us. My fondest memories of you were when we were in that handbell choir and when we went to Huston to perform. Hope your life is going well. Wish I had been able to attend his funeral and see you again.
Once again, my condolences go out to you and your family.
On behalf of American Legion Post 31, please accept my condolences in the passing of Mr. Shaw. God bless you.

To my cousins and Pat,
I loved your Dad and husband! What a wonderful man he was--he freely shared his love and true concern for everyone. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that he loved me. I know you will miss him so!!!!
May God be with you all.

May you find comfort in the memories you had with Dave. He was an awe-inspiring man and it has been an honor to call him our patient.
