My heart goes out to Joy, Christy and the entire family. He was always so happy when I would come out. Even if that meant we would just watch CSI or even movies. Every time I watch a musical or Swing Kids i'll be thinking of you. You will be missed deeply
We extend our deepest sympathies to the entire Parker family on the passing of your patriarch, Dennis Devon Parker. I (Ann) met Dennis in the course of my work in the Bell Telephone system. And as my husband George says, “When I met Dennis, I could tell from the beginning that he was the kind of guy who would be a great friend.” From mentoring me in my business career, working with him as a consultant, and then extending those relationships to home and family, Dennis Parker has been an important person; a great friend, in my life. He has fixed my car, taken us to a Drum Corps competition, hosted us at the lake, and visited us in New Jersey. We will miss getting together with Dennis on our trips to puppet conventions in Missouri. I hope to, sometime, hear again his cheery greeting of “Hey, lady!”.
Christy and family, sorry for your loss I sure enjoyed meeting Denny the time we were in KC at the lake and will always remember the good visit we had, just keep him close we will all know he made a good life for your family and will be missed.

To the Parker Family; I do not know your family but you have something in common with my own family. I lost my dad in November 2012 to PSP, and I can honestly say that I am truly sorry for your loss. PSP is such a devastating disease, and it is so heartbreaking to watch your loved ones deteriorate daily from its ravages. I hope and pray that someday there will be a cure from this awful disease, and wish it would have came in time to save our loved ones. You are in my thoughts and prayers for I know what you have been through. Take comfort in knowing that your loved one has escaped the clutches of PSP and is now free. Sincerely, Lisa Ricketts and family

Those of us that worked with Mr Parker at the RCN company learned to appreciate his business "sense" and ability to keep a level of calm in
a start up company environment.
Denny's long career in business always made for interesting discussions. As you know,Denny also shared that experience with business students as a "teacher"..
Most of all we will miss his humor and kindness .
My mom Patricia Cyr sends her deepest sympathies. He was such a nice man. So kind to my family. He was a good band aid.

No doubt about the fact that he loved you all very much. Denny was a great man and I miss him already. I'm praying for God's peace to fill you all and for His comfort to surround you.
To the Parker Family...All our sympathy to you all. I have know you most of your lives. We had some great times. If it wasn't for your family relocating to NJ, Christy and I would have never met, and I would have never have met you all. Wow, you guys had some great parties through the years which I was happy to be there for. May you hold a happy celebration for your Dad in his honor, as he was always laughing and smiling every time I came over. May your Dad be younger and healthy in heaven and you will see signs of him very soon. My love and sympathy to you all..Annemarie, NJ
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Mr. Parker, Since I have been friends with Christy since 4th grade, needless to say, you have been another father figure through all those years to me. I loved, laughed, cried with you and your family over the years, both for good and bad and need I mention you being a Band Parent and winning the Atlantic Coast Championship with and Joy's support, how good can it get. Rest in peace and say hello to my Dad for me. I love you and will truly miss you. Annemarie and Family
Denny became part of my Kansas City family since I lived far from my relatives. I'll always remember him as a good host, a business guru, and a fair man with a wrench. I once helped him build a skateboard ramp for his grandson Denys. That meant a lot to me. When I moved to Sacramento, I had the good fortune to meet his mother. I hope they can have good times together again.
Thank you for being my rock, my inspiration! I know that you will continue to guide me and be a presence in my life.. Love you Dad!
The Pereira family sends their condolences to all the Parker family. Being a close friend to the Parker family, growing up with the family...Mr. Parker was a wonderful man and a wonderful father to Kristy, Stacey, Robyn, Kevin & Jason. Mr. & Mrs. Parker were a wonder team together, they always had fun doing family things together and I always enjoyed being around them all. Mr. Parker will be missed. R.I.P.
Denny was a life long close friend. Gari and I attended his wedding to Joy and we have remained friends ever since. Over the years we have exchnged visits as both of our families have moved around the country as business required. Two years Denny and Joy visited us in Florida-our vacation home and last year in Michigan with his family. Of all the people we have known Denny has remained not just a good friend, but a person of value--he will be missed. Al & Gari Feldman
