I met Diana while doing volunteer work at the Children's Home with the Tennessee Campers on Mission. Diana was a wonderful mom to all her kids and always had a smile on her face, even when we knew she wasn't feeling well. She will be greatly missed on the Children's Home campus when we visit again, but I know she's now smiling in God's presence as she worships Him.
Diana and I became friends 45 years ago. In all that time, she never changed -- always a kind word, ready smile, and help to anyone in need. I am proud to have been her friend. She will be in my heart and thoughts always. My prayers go out to all her family.
Tom and Diana, two of the greatest Christians I have ever known. She will be missed. Tom will continue to serve GOD.
In Christian love,
I looked better today than I have in a long time, but the person who it was for couldn't even open her eyes. I don't know if I made her proud or not, I don't know if she realized how much she taught, but she made me proud, proud to be me, and I'm definitely proud to call her my grammie.
Please accept our sincere condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Cossie and Anne Bowman Owsley, Abingdon, VA
