Dr. Woodruff was my orthodontist and my friend. I will never forget when he took me fishing, a little kid from Premont, and I reeled in a 28-inch red fish. It is still, to this day, the largest fish I have ever caught! He was so happy to see the joy in my face! That was the kind of person he was: he cared about his patients.
Don was not only my cousin, but my friend! May he rest in peace, and may God wrap his arms around his wife Donna, to give her solace!!! Love
My friendship and association with Don started in the first grade in Santa Anna. The association includes all of our primary school years, college and continued in our diverse professional careers, it will continue in my memories.
My condolences to his family.
Don was the best employer anyone could ask for, I am blessed to not only have worked for him but became good friends with him and Donna. My deepest sympathy goes to his family and friends he was and will always be larger than life in my eyes.
Although I only saw Don once in the 63 years since we graduated, I count him as a friend and remember our days as Scouts in Santa Anna. My condolences to all of his family and friends.
Rest in Peace Don.
My deepest sympathy to all his family. Don was a friend to all my family for many years, but especialy a good friend with my father Noel. Don hunted in our land in Starr county for many years. My father and Don bartered so Don hunted for free and Don provided dental care to the family for free. What a deal. My Dad traveled with Don many times to Mexico and Colorado. I am eternally greatfull to Don for my Dad truely enjoyed that period of his life. Don may you rest in peace.
So sorry for your loss. Thinking of you.
