Donnie, You were not only my sister, but my best friend. You were my inspiration. What a priviledge and blessing it has been to be able to be with you and care for you these past months (and years). What a brave and courageous girl you were. Now you are safe in the arms of Jesus. I am comforted because I know beyond the shadow of a doubt where you are, and I will be joining you someday soon. I love you so much and I always will.
Donnie, you were and are such a beautiful, caring and gentle friend. I cherish God putting us on the same path to meet at Renew. Your christian and spiritual strength during your long struggle with illness made such an impression on me. I know your loving spirit is with us now and always.
Love to you, Mike and your beautiful family.
My heart goes out to you and your family. I pray the Peace of God be with you during this time.
Our love and prayers are with you,
Flo & Jim and Family!
We first met Donnie over two years ago when we would sometimes pick her up after her treatments. We were immediately drawn to her and greatly enjoyed our visits with her on the drive home. Even though she was going through such a terrible fight, Donnie was a very strong, loving and gracious lady. We will miss her dearly. Our prayers are with Mike, Sharon, and all of Donnie's family and friends.
Rest in peace, Donnie, safe in the arms of Our Savior.

Donnie loved the Lord with her whole heart and soul. This was evident with how she lived her life. She was kind, thoughtful, and always showed concern for others. Donnie was a wonderful friend and I will miss her very much.
Donnie was such an inspiration to us. From the first time I met Donnie in our Renew Group at St. Jospeh Honey Creek 7 years ago her Christlike spirituality showed through. The last four years watching her valiant fight with this dread disease only strenghtened all who saw her, myself included. We will miss Donnie and our hearts go out to Mike and all the family.
Donnie was one of the most loving giving persons I have ever known. She was my strength through my first bought of cancer, and will be my strength as I fight the return of my cancer. I love and miss you Donnie.
