My son was playing baseball in a tournament to raise money for a 22 yr old fighting breast cancer when the accident happened. Many prayers were going up for Mrs. Brown's safety and recovery. I am deeply sorry for your loss and pray that God will comfort you and give you peace in the days to come.
John and Dink,
I am so saddened to hear of Arlene's passing, my heart aches for you. May God's love and your loving memories make your grief bearable. Both of you and your families are in my thoughts, my heart, and my prayers.
My family was at the baseball field on the day of the accident. My husband assisted with Mrs. Brown while she was in the car. We are deeply sorry for your loss and it sounds like she was a wonderful women. We pray that you find peace and know that she is watching over you now.
She will be truly missed as a neighbor.I will think of her fondly each time I pass her home.
Arlene, you were so nice to me and always gave me the sweetest compliments. No one could bake biscuits or a cake as good as you. You were always there for all the family events; even the kids' birthday parties. Holidays will never be the same without you. I am so grateful I was able to know you these last 10 years. Your kindness will be missed!
Several years ago I was a neighbor of Arline's and loved visiting with her on the porch and in the yard. She has a great spirit and a fantastic laugh. She was a one of a kind!!!! I will charish my conversations with her!
I am so sorry for your loss. It is particularly hard to lose a loved one especially when they have been with you for 80 years. Ms. Brown was blessed with what the scriptures describe as "special mightiness." (Psalm 90:10) I hope that the many memories you have of her will bring you the comfort you need in order to endure this difficult time. Again, please accept my sincere condolences.
We will truly miss you working in your yard or enjoying your front porch and your friendly wave as we passed. It's been a pleasure to know you since we moved in across the street five years ago. Our sincere sympathy to the Brown family for your loss.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful woman. Arlene was an inspiration to me and her presence in our neighborhood will be greatly missed.
