I just found out about Doris' death. I wondered why I did not get her usual early Christmas card, went online and discovered this. I worked at 60 Centre St NYC with Doris for many years. I was a young, energetic lawyer as opposed to being an old , tired lawyer. Words cannot not express how I loved Doris. She always had a smile on her face and always looked at the bright side of life. She will be forever in my heart and memory. And she often talked about her family and expressed the love she had for them. My deepest condolences to all.
I have very fond memories of Doris in Kearny and at Kearny High School, as well as Avon-by-the-Sea. The whole Antonas family were wonderful and loving and will miss Doris very much. My husband, Ron and I send our thoughts to you.

I belately express my sincerest thoughts to Doris' family. Since retirement, the years distance all of us, but we think of each other now and then, "where is she; what is she doing. . . ". I was sadden to hear of her passing; wondering whether she smiled her way into paradise or did she struggle her way to that soft light we all look for at our end. But, knowing her commitment to friends and family, I'm sure she was not alone; indeed, she was surrounded by love. I only wished I got to see her one last time...... love you for the years you made me smile and laugh. Fondly, Louis.
Doris was a wonderful person who we got to know when I worked for Justice Schlesinger in NY Supreme Court. It is a great loss for everyone who ever had the pleasure of knowing her. Rest in peace Doris.

Sorry to hear about the passing of my former classmate.
We attended school together in Kearny. My prayers are
with Doris and her family.
It was an honor to know Doris. She was a wonderful person and a great friend to our family. We will remember her fondly always, but especially when we drive down Bryn Mawr Ave.
So so sorry to hear about the loss of our dear cousin Doris. I wish we could be there, but I'm glad we were able to have some good (and funny, of course) conversations with her recently. We will miss her and will always remember her wonderful smile, sense of humor and contagious congeniality.
Please extend our deepest condolences to the entire family. We wish you all strength during this difficult time.

I was so sorry to read about Doris. I manage Colonial Bakery in Lavalette, which is how I knew her. I will remember her as an active, cheerful, and caring woman, very much involved in the activities of the First Aid Squad. I will miss seeing her in the summer. Please accept my sympathies.
We were saddened to hear of Doris's passing Doris was a great neighbor, who looked after all on Sterling Avenue as well as other's in the community.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Dear Stacey, all three York girls no doubt remember our summers at Avon by the Sea with the Antonas family. Linda and Doris were classmates at Kearny High, as were you and I. I am saddened to read of Doris' death. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and everyone who loves Doris. Fondly, Pamela York Klainer
We will greatly miss our dear, dear friend, Doris, who inspired many of us with her extreme caring for - and devotion to - her wonderful family (including her precious Cassie Sue) and friends. She will always be our Sterling Avenue angel. Like the brightest star in the sky, she will shine on Lavallette--and in our hearts--forever.
We were privileged to have known Doris. Traveling with her was very special and allowed us to feel that we had known her for a long time. We will remember her sense of humor and wonderful, bright smile. Our prayers are with your family.
We are so sorry to learn that we will not be able to spend time with Doris. We were so glad that we had the chance to be with her this summer. We enjoyed her company every time we were with her. She was so kind, loved whatever she was doing, and made everyone feel like they knew her forever. She was an extraordinary woman and will truly be missed by all who were privileged to know her.
