Don and Dave,

I am very saddened to hear of your mom's passing. As many people have already remarked, she was always smiling. In fact, I can't think of your mom without picturing a great big smile on her face, and an infectious laugh to go along with it.

My deepest sympathies are with you both, and with your entire family.

To the entire Laita family..Dot's passing has truly saddened our family. Our sincerest condolences are with you all at this most difficult time. I hope that Dot finds a "field of dreams" in heaven (along with Rai's golf course) so that she can continue to play ball. That's how I will remember her..always with a smile..loving and caring for everyone, friends, and especially family. God bless and may you all find strength in the love you shared.

Farewell, Dear Mother

Somewhere in my heart beneath all my grief and pain,
Is a smile I still wear at the sound of your dear name.
The precious word is ‘MOTHER', she was my world you see,
But now my heart is breaking cause she's no longer here with me.
God chose her for His angel to watch me from above,
To guide me and advise me and know that I'm still loved.
The day she had to leave me when her life on earth was through,
God had better plans for her, for this, I surely knew.
When I think of her kind heart and all those loving years,
My memories surround me and I can't hold back the tears.
She truly was my best friend, someone I could confide in,
She always had a tender touch and a warm and gentle grin.
I want to thank you Mother for teaching me so well,
And though the time has come that I must bid you this farewell.
I'll remember all you've taught me and make you proud you'll see.
Thank you my Dear Mother for all the love you showed me.
Although you've left this earth and now you've taken flight,
I know that you are here with me each morning, noon and night.

Love now and forever,
Donald, Michelle, Matthew, Kyleah and Tyler

I met Dorothy, aka Teddy at our 'little girls gym group' in 1949. Even then she was a bubbling cheerful girl, and that wonderful personality shone and stayed with her throughout her life. She was a joy. Our group has been lessened by one. Teddy and Raimo were a team. In my thoughts. Sincere condolences to all the family.

Dot was an inspiration to all of us when baseball season started. Win or lose, she had a contagious smile that encouraged us all. Our team was very proud to have three generations playing; Dot, Vicky and Caden. Dot, rest in peace. To the Family, keep fond memories of Dot close to your heart.

Karen, Karl and all of the Laita family,

Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your precious Mother, Mother-in-law, and Grandmother.

Dot will forever be in our hearts. We are all going to miss her smiling face, jolly laughter, caring heart and positive attitude towards life.

The Monday Night Marauders Bowling League have experienced a tremendous void losing Ray in September and now Dot and we are all deeply saddened.

May you find comfort in the warmth of family and friends at this sorrowful time.

Respectfully,

Helen & Dominic Florio

A mother is the rose that lives forever in our hearts. She is the wall you can not tear down no matter how hard you try. A mother is an ocean overflowing with love, warmth, tenderness, caring, understanding and devotion. She is the most important person in your life which is why words fall short when expressing sorrow for the loss of a mother. Dorothy was a very special lady, loved by everyone who knew her. Take comfort in knowing that Dorothy lived her life surrounded by the world she loved: her late husband Raimo, daughter Karen, sons Karl, Tom, John, Donald, David, daughter in laws, and most prized heart felt possession, her precious grandchildren. Good mothers hold a special place in their hearts for their children and those children in turn hold a special place in their hearts for their mother.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Dina Perna-Rollox
