Although we have just recently got to know and appreciate Pat and Terry, I can see many of the qualities in Pat that she mentions in her tribute to her father, Ed Campbell. How wonderful to have all of those memories. Our thoughts and prayers for the family. Paul and Linda Binding, Salt Spring Island.
April 9 2013 Sad to hear of Ed's passing. One memorable moment was that weekend we didnt have to pick cucumbers and got a chance to go to Clearwater Bay Lake of The Woods Marlene and I enjoyed Mr. Bigs and wonderful hospitality at the cabin. Ed and I lost the fish stringer when fishing and almost lost the 14 foot aluminum a memorable moment at the time something I won't forget. My condolences Vicky to you and family
It is with sincere sadness that I learned of Ed's passing. He and Vicky spent many happy times together with Babs and I and later with Nancy and I in Winnipeg. Ed loved to visit us in NL and would always say "you folks in Newfoundland have one of the best kept secrets". He loved to visit with us.
Florida holds many happy times that we will never forget.
Perhaps the most memorable happened at my home in St John,s. We had the honour of having three world war two airmen and their wives for dinner. Ed and Vicky, Fred Russell and Peggy (our Lt. Governor at the time) and Lamont Parsons and his wife Babs. All three are survived by their wives.
We will miss you Ed. I, will especially miss you. To me, you were an older brother who kept giving me advice. I listened. Thank you my friend.
It is with much sadness that we say goodbye to Ed who was, indeed,a very special man. His love of life was only surpassed by his love of family and knowing him made our life richer. We were entertained by his forthright spirit and sense of humour, impressed by his success and comforted by his humility and loyalty. He was a true Canadian and friend.
We extend our most sincere condolences to you Vicky and your family. We will treasure our memories of times together and know that at this time of sadnes, there willl be joy in your heart for the many years of happiness you shared together..

Our deepest sympathy. May God bless you In this time of sorrow.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
We have known Ed and Vicky for many years and have been very privileged to be part of such a warm and loving relationship. Time spent in Florida, catching the 'biggest fish' on the island, at Lake of the Woods enjoying the wonderful cottage on the point and being welcomed with the warm hospitality at Ayr Rd. in Winnipeg. We will always remember Ed's keen sense of humour. Ed was a very special man who cared deeply about his family and friends and it was an honour to be called a friend. He will be forever in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with Vicky and the Family
