I would like to send my prayers to Mrs. Shaver and Family. I worked for Dr Shaver from 1990 until 1995, when he retired. He was a great employer and such a caring and compassionate person. I have thought of him often over the years. He will be missed by many.

Dr. Shaver is a person missed by everyone who came to know him. He was the person we all wanted to be: friendly, warm, appreciative, understanding, caring, and interested in the well-being of friends, or acquaintances. I think of him often, and always will.

When I was a child I had frequent ear infections. A relative in our family had been referred to Dr. Shaver by someone from Johns Hopkins. Mother took me to see Dr. Shaver and I saw him regularly each time I had an ear infection. I still remember how painful those episodes were and how I knew that once I saw Dr. Shaver he would take care of it. In the 7th grade Dr. Shaver put tubes in my ears and I have never had another ear problem. I will be 57 years old this year and I still remember what a kind and gentle man Dr. Shaver was and how well he treated my mother and me. Mother knew she could call him at any time and he would always answer the phone. We were saddened to hear that he had passed away. He was a fine man and a great doctor. God Bless Your Family
