May God bless your heart during this hard time, Ms. Evelyn and Gunnels family. Your family became a big part of my life over the years I cared for Mr.Gunnels. Actually of all the people I've cared for Mr.Gunnels was the most caring, loving, and down to earth. I also can't forget intelligent because each morning he had a new history question to ask me. Mr. Gunnels will forever be missed. May he rest in perfect peace.
Knowing how close you were with your father, he will leave a great void in your life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Phil, I'm really sorry to hear about your father's passing. I enjoyed the many times that you shared stories of your father during those years with Texaco. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

A visionary and great leader. I overheard him telling a co-worker " What do you call an Aggie after he has graduated" I do not know. "Boss" answered Ellis.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Bob and I extend our condolences to you and your wonderful family in your loss.

Phil and family,
I am sorry to hear of Ellis' death. He was a man of great vision and it was a pleasure to be a part of the many things he created at Texaco. I have very fond memories of our first foray into NASCAR with the Allison's and the Indy Car circuit with Tom Sneva. Ellis also made many trips with us to evaluate future technologies that we used to automate the service stations and other downstream assets. He was a great leader and a great man. May the Holy Spirit grant you peace and comfort...
Dear Evelyn, I was so sorry to learn that your dear husband had passed away. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Altho I didn't know Ellis, I have a feeling that he was a wonderful husband and Father. Love to you.
I had the pleasure of being associated with, working for and being a friend with Ellis for over 40 years. He is someone I always held in the highest esteem.
My sympathies go out to you Evelyn, and to the rest of the Gunnels family.
Dearest Evelyn, Martha Jean, Stephen, and Phil,
We extend our sincere condolences to each of you during this time of loss.

Evelyn, While we've only met once, I feel like I've known you for a long time as a friend of Phil and Kathy. You and Ellis raised a beautiful family and our thoughts are with you all.

I was saddened to hear that Ellis had passed and would like to express my sincere condolences to the entire Gunnels family. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. As his personal physician, I had the pleasure of knowing and caring for Ellis for over 30 years and have never known a finer gentleman who had a zest for life and cherished his wife and family to the end.
Evelyn, Gen and I extend to you and the family our sincere sympathy in your loss. Ellis "Warren" was always my greatest supporter and we owe much of our success in this life to him, he gave me the opportunity to fail many times, but together, we always made it. We have always held you and Ellis in the highest esteem. Our prayers are with you during this time of loss. We love you!
