Ms. Elvis was one of my ladies at Graceland that I would go visit when I go to see my Annie who is there. I was drawn by her smile in the cafeteria one day and we were eternal friends from then on! We talked about Jesus Christ mainly, and she taught me how to visit the other residents. She said that "touch" was so very important! She would hold their hands and cup their faces with so much compassion and tell them it was going to be alright. Well, my last visit with her was a couple of weeks ago. I rubbed her feet, then held her hand. She opened her eyes and looked at me with those eyes of compassion as if to say, "It's going to be alright, isn't it?" So I cupped her face in my hands and told her thank you for teaching me the importance of this, and Yes, its going to be alright". I will undoubtably see my friend when I get to New Jerusalem....I hope you will too. THANK YOU MS. FEWELL (FUEL, JUST LIKE THE GASOLINE) FOR ALL YOU GAVE ME IN A PLACE THAT THERE SEEMS SO LITTLE TO GIVE..BUT YOU SHARED THE LOVE OF CHRIST...WELL DONE.
