Erin, thank you for being a loving godmother and extra aunt to me for so many years. We had so many beautiful times when Amber and I were growing up. I love you.

The bond between a brother and sister is something special. I was always so proud of you and your path in life. Choosing such a compassionate profession as you did. I have such great memories of our growing up together. I love you and will miss you greatly, but, I think you already know.

We only knew Erin for a short time but it was long enough to know how much she loved Chet and Alexandre. She was so strong in her battle. The St. Martha Community will always be there for you both.

I have only known Erin for about five short years. We quickly became friends and shared many things together. I felt honored to be asked to go to Texas to be with her for two weeks during one of her treatments. I was able to make her laugh and bring her comfort at times during her difficult journey. Her love for Alexandre was the most important thing in her life. Now, she will be watching Alexandre from heaven. I am glad I spent some time with Erin on Thursday, her last day. She seemed to respond and know that I was there. After a while she became very calm and at peace. She now is in a better place with no more pain, no worries and no more sorrow.

There are no words to express the sadness I feel on Erin's passing. My heart breaks thinking of years that have gone by since we last saw each other.
