To the family of Ms. Ashford. The one thing I remember about her was her gentleness. Also, she always presented herself as a Lady. May she rest in leave.
May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
May you feel God's peace during this time.
Ernestine was a very special person! I taught with her at the old Woodson High School from 1977-1981. She taught adult Home Economics classes and my students were bussed from Franklin Middle School. I remember Aaron as a little boy coming to visit his mom at school. And how ironic, several years later when I was teaching at Woodson Center for Excellence Aaron was my substitute. How life makes a true circle. I will cherish the memories of your mother. She was an inspiration to me because of her patient way for dealing with people and her love of the Lord!
Will miss you. Tell my mom I said to take care of you.
Your beautiful presence will be truly missed at Mount Zion, my prayer are with the family, may God comfort you all as only He can.

To the Ashford, your mother was an awesome lady--always full of wisdom, of grace, and she always displayed her love and commitment to the Lord by the way she lived. Her life is a legacy to many of us and certainly and example that women of all ages can learn from. Our prayers are with you all. As our hearts understand your pain because she has left this side; yet, we also rejoice in knowing that she has gone to be with the Lord, Rev. Ashford, and with so many other loved ones and friends who have go on before her. We love you all. Curtis & Bettye Gindratt --Abilene, TX.
Keep my Ashford family in my prayers!!!!
