Everett was a first cousin of my mother...Garnet Cool Holmes. He was delightful with a wonderful sense of humor. I saw him and Corrine fairly often while a student at MSU in the 60's. They made it easier to be away from home (LeRoy). We visited again when our daughter was considering colleges and we saw them when we did art shows in the Lansing/E.Lansing area. Both are jewels in our family tree. Hazel Holmes Palmer

Everett was a great guy, and lots of fun to talk to. I called him 'Grampa", and he called me "Sonny". I saw him a lot at Independence Village where I would walk my mother's dog (he loved Barney) and at Meijers. He always had a good word to say. I miss seeing him.

To whom it may concern. Although I did not have the honor of knowing Mr. Ketchum, I will remember him as an original sit down striker who forged a way of life for me and my family. Thank you sir. My sincerest sympathy to all those who loved you.
