Still with love, Aub
We miss you grandma...Hoping to make you proud! Love you!
To all of you who knew my mother and have expressed your sorrow, thank you. She loved every one she met, never met a stranger and was, and still is, my hero. Please keep her spirit alive in your daily lives just as she lived. Love, laugh, smile and be genuine. A beautiful lady. My mom!!
My sister and I just heard about Claire. We are so sorry for your loss. She was a special person. Claire will be deeply missed.
TO MY COUSINS, U LOST A VERY INPORTANT PART OF OF YOUR FAMILY, JUST TRY TO GET THROUGH EACH DAY WITH ALL THE GREAT MEMORIES YOU ALL SHARED. THINKING OF ALL OF YOU. I CAN HEAR AUNT CLAIRE SAY "HELLO DARLIN" UNCLE JACK TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!
Dear Jack, Jeffrey, Julie, Joel, Michelle and Jodie,
I am so sorry to learn of the sad news. No words can fully capture the generosity and love that Claire had for everyone. Claire was also like a Mom to me.
I know that you are all hanging in there and supporting each other through this difficult time. I send you all my very best.
Dear Jack & family.
Here's 2 old Beavers who are truly sad for your loss of lovely Claire. Although we didn't know her well, her reputation was of a lovely wife, mother & grandmother. We both know of the trials of being a coach's wife...all the ups & downs of dealing with fans, players & a grouchy husband after losses. Our memories of her are of a cheerful, smiling lady inspite of all the drama going on.
Take care, old friend, we know you have some rough times ahead, but let your friends, family & all those grandchildren spoil you a little. Call us if you want to talk
Jack and Family,
I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember her amazing smile and the way she made everyone in the room feel heard, understood and accepted. What a gift she was to all who had the pleasure. (And Julie, she was one smart lady! She was right about investments and IRAs).
Blessings and comfort to you all.
Claire was one of the neatest people I have met. The sweetest of personalities, she brightened every room she entered! I will miss her dearly. My condolances to your entire family.

Dear Uncle Jack and to all my cousins,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Aunt Claire was such a beautiful person, always smiling and she would always make us feels as if we were one of her own. I will always have wonderful memories of her and she will be truly missed.
Love to you all and God Bless.
Dear Julie, I'm so sorry that your mother passed away so suddenly. According to all who knew her, she was both an angel and a saint, besides a great mother. I feel very fortunate that I got a chance to see her again when Isabelle was here and we had lunch with Jack and Claire in August. My very best wishes to you and your family and may all the wonderful memories that I know you all have, get you through this very difficust time.
Dear Avina Family,
My heart goes out to you for the loss of your beautiful, charming, personable, and generous wife, mother, and grandmother. There was no other like her. I admired Claire for her sweet disposition and kind nature. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear Julie: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It was an absolute joy to meet your mother earlier this year when she visited New York. My sincere condolences to you and your family during this very sad time. June Lum (New York, NY)
I'm so sorry to hear that Claire has passed on. She was truly a remarkable lady and will be missed by all that knew her. Her contributions to your family, your basketball program, and to the University of Portland were greatly appreciated by all of us who were there at the time. I'm out of town house sitting for one of our kids and so will not be able to make the funeral service - but I'll send in a contribution in her name and look forward to the opportunity to see you again when I return in the middle of October. May God bless you and be with you and your family during this time and always.
