Barry, Charles and Margaret,I was saddened to learn of Frances passing. She had always welcomed me , and for that i am thankful.
Barry, Margaret and Charles, I was so sad to hear about Frances passing. I have known her my whole life. I remember as a child being so excited whenever Barry and Frances would come to mom and dads to visit. Barry was so silly and fun and I always remember Frances laughing, probably at Barry's antics. As a matter of fact I still loved visiting with them as an adult! Frances was so kind and funny and I will remember her fondly. Love Michelle Zinck and family
Barry and family,
Just heard the sad news about Frances, my sincerest condolences. I remember driving back with you, Frances and Charles one time from a Singer meeting in Quebec City and recall that Frances kept us entertained all the way back with her witty comments and conversation. She was a wonderful person.
Barry, Charles, and family
Yes, it was quite shocking to hear the sad news. We can never truly empathize with another. However, at this time of loss we certainly share your grief. It always appeared that Frances had great joy in making others happy – her smile and laughter were contagious, her door always open, and her words insightful. And although no words can really help ease the loss you bear, please know that you and the family are close in our thoughts and prayers.
We will touch base with you upon our return to Bedford in the New Year.
Graham (Anne and Ben)

Read of Frances' passing in the newspaper, know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Remember growing up in the Harbour, your summer trips down and later years at St. Pat's together and oh yes I was a pupil of Frances' her first year of teaching at St. Josephs, now that's going back. You came from great stock and I'm sure this is very difficult time for you all but remember Charlie & Charlotte were waiting for her and now they are together again.
Dear Paula, and Lorna, Charlie, Mary and Bernie, as well Barry and family,
I was stunned and saddened when I heard of Frnces's sudden death. I am so sorry! I cannot imagine how difficult a time this must be for you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have not had a chance to spaek with Frances for many years now, but I remember Fraces growing up on Connaught Avenue, and I always admired her, and will continue to do so. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.
Dear Barry - Jeanne and I are in Charlottetown visiting our son and I just picked up a copy of the Chronicle Herald and saw the notices of Frances' passing. Ironically we had spoken about you and Frances as we were on our way driving here and wondered what had become of you both after we lost touch as so often happens when people move to different cities. France's was - back in the day when we both went to St. Pat's - so well liked and effervescent. You both have obviously had successful lives and careers. We remember dear little Margaret who was so cute and precocious . Your loss is a great one . Please accept our condolences and prayers for Frances and you. Bob and Jeanne Hall. email@example.com
The feeling of sadness is felt by many of Frances's passing , I still can not believe that she is in the arms of our FATHER now, this truly was a shock to many of us. She was my neighbor and she always had a smile for everyone. I last spoke with her at the mail box a few week's ago, we had a nice talk that day as I remember about many things, she was very cheerful that day and to be honest I saw a brightness in her face of which I had never saw before and it did stick in my mind for some unknown reason. She was a very nice lady and a lady she was in all way's. I did not know her very well, but she was all ways the same way very friendly. My condolences to all her family I know your lost is GREAT... Barry she was....your world and the love of your life , but Frances will always live within your heart for ever...... and she will all way's be near you.....R.I.P.

Dear Barry and Family, what does one say at such a tragic time, there are no words, I choose only to think of what a wonderful person Fran was, her incredible enthusiasm, caring nature, and positive additude will never be forgotten. I especially remember how comforting you both were when our mom was sick in hospital and Fran's encouraging words at that time, your visits to see mom and how much you cared were not lost on us and will never be forgotten... Dear Barry, Margaret and family and Charles,
I am shocked and so so sad to hear of Fran's passing. She was such a vibrant lady. Someone we all loved to be around and she will be terribly, terribly missed. She has been so good to my mom throughout their long-lasting frienship from childhood right on up through the years... such a true friend.
My thoughts and best wishes are with you all, sending positive energy your way, that type of energy that was always demonstrated by Fran herself.
Our hearts are broken as we read of Frances passing. Our walks along the Bedford waterfront often ended with visits with Frances and Barry at their home. Frances was such a great host and we always felt we were at home in her home. She was so easy to talk with and such a great mother and wife. Bedford will never be the same without her. Take care.
Sandy and Judy Hines, Bedford

Thinking of you.
Frances was the go between for Barry and I for several years when we organized the April Grandmasters' Tournament 5-8 years ago. She attended the tournament often ever since and occasionally showed up for league games. On a few occasions I saw her dropping Barry or picking him up from Dalhousie noon hoops. I will miss her easy grace and joy in all things. Former President, Grandmasters Basketball League
