Dear DeRose Family,
I would like to extend our most sincere condolences to your family from our family. Frank was truly a joy and inspiration to everyone he touched. He and I shared many conversations when we saw each other at either the Parkwood “Y” or at various times at church. He always had a positive attitude and was a motivation for everyone, especially for me.
Cathy, we've met but you probably remember more of your students and my son and daughter, Donnie and Mariel, were students of yours at St. Thomas.
In closing, I heard a unique definition for “Lifestyle”, which exemplifies Frank and how he lived his life. It says: “Life is what God gave us; Style is what we make of it.” Frank truly made the very most of his life because he gave so very much to others.

May God bless and keep you all and we will keep you all in our prayers.

Most Sincerely,

Don Moorer & Family (Glynda, Donnie, & Mariel)

Frank DeRose was such a wonderful, loving man and gave me great comfort during a very stressful time in my life. His prayer cards that he was always sending to me were answers to my prayers for God to send me angels to lift me up. I am SURE Frank is now feeling God's warm embrace, just like the warm and happy embraces Frank gave to us friends when he met us at church or elsewhere. I pray for God's Holy Spirit to miraculously and lovingly comfort the whole DeRose family in their time of need now.

I was so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I will always remember his great sense of humor, and the times when he would come over to our house when I was a young man. It seems like yesterday that I was delivering his newspaper. The world lost a great man but heaven just got one.

What a wonderful person he was! Any time we needed a substitute Catechist he would be there. He lived his faith through his actions and he will be received with open arms by our Savior. May the Lord bless and comfort you for your loss.

Mrs. DeRose, and family -
It is certainly strange to think of the world without Mr. DeRose in it! Your presence in our lives is a mainstay of my childhood memories - from simple events like Friday night bridge to HS [and even graduate school!] graduations - and a continued part of present day events and my visits home. {Like running into you at a movie theater ;-)}. I am SO sorry for your loss. He was truly a wonderful, delightful, and loving man. Please know of my thoughts and prayers during these difficult days, and beyond. Perhaps we can think of the guys - old friends reunited in Heaven - as celebrating their being back together and causing trouble. Meanwhile, we miss them.
Love ya -

Cathy and family,
So sorry to hear about Frank's passing. I remember many years ago how my mom talked and really respected Frank as a husband and father.
Then again several years later Lou and I move next door to another wonderful couple that was Frank's sister (Mary Ann and her husband, Joe Bobko). How small the world is??
I remember you and Frank at our wedding and then again all the other family (Bobko) gatherings. Good Times.
Love Cathi (Dore) Kirkbride
