With great sadness I just learned from the latest Texas Aggie magazine of Frank's untimely illness and passing. I shared memories with Frank from the eight years spanning our high school and college days and regret that we had not seen much of each other since that time. I will remember most Frank's irrepressible smile, love of life, and love of people. He found faith, joy, and love in life, which is a most worthy legacy and a model for us all. Farewell old friend; we will miss you.
We just found out about the terrible loss of your husband and our friend, Frank. We are are so saddened! If there is anything that we can do to help you through this difficult time don't hesitate to call us.

I just learned of Frank's passing from my ex-husband. I am so saddened by this news! It doesn't seem long ago that I reconnected with him and Carl via email. It was fun catching up with both of them. I have so many wonderful memories of working with Carl and Frank at Golfsmith in 1973! They will always be special to me. My condolences for your loss.
As a 14 year employee of Golfsmith this saddens me. Frank did a great deal for me and my family. My very best to the Paul family.
I am so sorry for your loss, Frank was a wonderful man and a gentle soul. I know that he has touched many lives and will be truly missed. May you and your family find comfort in your many memories...God Bless. Terri Morgan
Most days from fourth grade until Frank graduated high school, I walked to school from our home on fourth street in Bishop Texas with Frank, Mrs. Paul and their dog. (or some combination). Mrs. Paul taught all of us Senior English. We lived two houses apart. Walk on Frank. You will be missed by many.
I am so sorry for you and your family on the loss of your husband.
He was always smiling and will be dearly missed.
I have so many great memories of Frank and my time working at Custom Golf, back in the day. I had respect for him, and really enjoyed visiting and working with him. Comfort, peace, and blessings to his family, co-workers, and friends.
Our Condolences to the Paul family. Remembering the happy times playing baseball and seeing Frank at first base. We regret the loss of such a great man!

A great loss of a great man to a great family. I always enjoyed seeing him at the annual Golfsmith events and relished his wonderful sense of humor. A life well lived but to short for all who knew and loved him. He will be missed by clubmakers and friends around the world.

Frank touched the lives of so many, near and far. His good nature was infectious, and his heart was as big as all outdoors. He will be missed, but long remembered. Golfsmith would have been a much smaller success without Frank's exceptional eye for detail, his compassion for the Golfsmith family, and his turtles dedication. Beyond great business success, Frank was a devoted and loving husband and father. Dorothy, my heart aches for you, your son's, and the extended Paul family. May God bless you all, and may He give you each that peace that passes all understanding.
We love you all so much. Our hearts are broken for you, but we know that God will give you the strength to bear this loss. Frank was one the the best that God puts on this earth and we will miss him dearly, as will many. Our thoughts, prayers and our love are with you.
Frank was a man with the kindest of hearts. There was sincerity in everything he did. Blessed wishes to Dorothy, Frank Jr. and Glenn in coping through your loved one's passing.
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I enjoyed many rounds of golf with Frank. Frank always had a unique ability to zone in on his round and not allow any distractions. He also had a positive impact on everyone he knew and will be missed by all.
Larry Schmidt (Georgetown, Texas)
It was an honor knowing Frank and playing golf with him over the years. Always the gentleman. I will miss those bright colored tees Frank always left behind. God bless.
My heart is heavy and sad. And Gary and I are holding all of you close in our prayers. Looking at Frank's pictures makes me smile and always will. I am so grateful we could spend time together during the Bishop Centennial. What a gift for long time friends. Frank - a special and gentle soul.
With love, Susan (Poorman) and Gary Blackie

Frank was a special man with so many talents, but most importantly he shared his kind heart with so many. I am forever grateful for the wisdom and kindness Frank bestowed on me. To Dorothy and the entire Paul family, treasure all the special times and hold each other close.
We were honored to know you and we will miss you.
So sorry for your loss. He was really one of the Good Men.
I remember Frankie as a very cute little boy. He was the younger brother of my classmate, Chuck. I knew Chuck and Carl better of course, and their mother, Olga Paul, was my English teacher, and was a wonderful lady. I'm so very sorry to learn of Frank's passing, and will remember his family in my prayers. Sincerely, Mildred Jones Smith

The name did not ring a bell at first it's been so long. The "brown" picture when he was a youth; I ran across the same picture a few weeks ago while going through some old boxes at my house. Now it all comes back. I'm glad for him that he no longer suffers.
My heart is broken. To never again be able to eat lunch with Frank; to never again hear him ask me before a round of golf "Richard, do we have a bet today"; to never be able to play another round of golf with Frank...brings tears to my eyes. He was my dear friend, who I will never forget. "Frank, you touched my life and I know that you touched many more. I am thankful I had the priviledge to know you. May your soul rest in peace." Dorothy, Frank, Jr., and Glenn, we all share your deep sorrow for the passing of a good, generous, and decent husband and father!!!! May the Lord bless you!!!
Dorothy, we are so sorry to hear about Frank. He will be missed at Great Hills Country Club. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless, Dwayne and Deloris Crider

What a sad loss. We had many memorable excursions in our High School days, and did get in trouble a few times or maybe just a little more than a few times. How simple those days were and how wonderful it is to be able to share it with the Grandchildren. Rest in Peace My Friend.
