My sympathies to the Piperato clan. Though we seldom saw eye to eye while he was principal at PHS and I was student body president, I always admired his honesty and dedication to education. RIP Mr. Piperato.
I will call him Mr. Piperato as I did when he was my Principle at Colfax Jr/Sr High. He was an honest, sincere and dedicated principle. He could scare the Hell out of you! My fondest memories were when Dad would take me hunting and I would return with a note from my Mother saying I was out sick. Frank would always ask, "How was the hunting" and I would tell him. He was a fair and just Principle. He will be missed. Michael H. Welbourn, Gold Run CA, Alta CA, Loyalton CA and Reno NV. My sorrow goes out to the entire family and may God bless!

I was blessed to know Frank Piperato as a teacher at Loyalton High School and as a friend in later years. He was a special person, may he rest in peace.
Condolences to his beautiful children who I remember babysitting many years ago. May God grant them comfort and peace at this difficult time.

We appreciated Frank as a neighbor, and our kids remember fondly his generosity in doling out candy at Halloween. Condolences to his family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
A wonderful neighbor and family man. We'll miss him.
One of my favorite teachers when I was at Loyalton High School during the early 50'... He is the reason why I so enjoyed school. God's comfort to his family.....
