I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Fred Sr. I didn't know him but I do know he will be missed greatly by those who did. I hope that your family will find great comfort in the many promises God has made to us at Revelation 21:4.
God bless the generations of the Aherns with love, joy, and peace. bless them as shining beacons of light in the community. As pilgrims on this earth, your home is heaven.
Fred Jr, So sorry to hear of your father's passing. He truly was a community leader and will be missed.
Dear Fred, Brent, & Mason,
Words can not express how much I cherished my relationship with your Dad and Pop Pop. I really got to know him and understand what a good man he was through our many interesting conversations. He always asked me how I was doing and how was my family. We're in this world to be nice to each other and show compassion. He was the master. I will deeply miss our time together. Marcele Gillum
I wanted to tell you a story that shows how nice your Dad was, I grew up in the Isle of Palms so when my husband and I wanted to buy a home we brought from your Dad on Luth Drive, our first new home! He was so wonderful to work with, but the day before the closing we found out that we needed an extra $1000.00 and we didn't have a dime extra to spare so your Dad said just come to the closing and we will work something out, he took a legal paid out and wrote a note saying that we owed him the money to be paid within 6 months and he had us sign the note. We paid him as soon as we got out income tax return. I will never forget his kindness to two very young people just starting out. You should be very proud of your Dad! He was a good man! God Bless you and your family!
Sorry for your loss.
God Bless ! We will misss your optimism and wonderful attitude! Please pick out a great piece of Real Estate in Heaven! Mike and Lauren

I am sadden by the loss of truely a great man, father and true friend. Your dad will be missed by many and was loved by all. To the family of Fred Ahern Sr,
We are saddened to hear of Fred's passing. We were neighbors at Salt Run Condos. Fred and Lacy were very special to us and we enjoyed talking with them. He will be missed, but knowing he is now with the love of his life. Our prayers are with you.
What a wonderful life Fred Sr. had. I am sadden by his lost, but a bit of me is jealous that my life may not be so rich. I remember Mr. Ahern as a kind man deserving of respect.
Those of you who know Fred, know how he loved hunting and fishing. One of his long time hunting and fishing friends, Buddy Arnold, passed away in February. If Buddy were here to speak for himself, he would begin with a toast to "JJ",(Fred's brother who died in WWII), as was their custom whenever they got together. Then they would tell stories that would have landed them in Jimmy Jarbo's jail if they hadn't grown up at The Beach in the 30' and 40's. The loved each other and knew they had the best lives ever lived. Fred talked to Buddy just before Buddy died and I talked to Fred just before he left this mortal plane. Their friendship lasted over 70 years. Goodbye, Fred. I'll miss you, too. Jane Arnold (Buddy's wife of 60 years)

My condolences to you, Brent and Mason. Your Dad was truly one of a kind. I always smiled at the way he would come into the office and say 'Good Morning Breakfast Clubber'. I know he is hand in hand with Ms. Lacey right now, but he will be missed by all who knew him. You and the boys are in my prayers.
To Fred Jr.
We are very sorry to hear of your loss, but now we celebrate the life of a wonderful human being in every respect. Even though we did not see him that much over the years, we could always count on him. He was a breed that has become almost extinct in the world at it exists today. Camille and I will miss him dearly. God Bless. The Centola Family

To Fred Jr.
My heart is heavy with saddness because you may have lost a father but I lost a dear friend. He was a friend who was able to see my vison for the seniors in the beaches and surrouding communities and was a mentor to me in helping me to start Hope Adult Day Services, A safe haven for our senior during the days so that their love ones can go to work. I will forever be grateful to him for that. I will miss writing him letters each month about my life and the business. Love Always Carol Jenkins Neil RN, MSN
