George and I went to high school and college together. He was one great friend and so funny, thinking of one particular joke he made at a reunion. I still laugh about it to this day. God is welcoming a new blessing.

I am very sorry for your loss .Ihope you will find comfort in reading ecclesiast 9:5
My sincere condolences go to George's sisters and brother. It is tough to lose your little brother. George and I were great friends for 48 years. We had wonderful times together. I was proud of George as he contributed so much to lives at JSU through cheerleading and ATO and "just being George". As a fundraiser for major national charities, he continued to affect lives throughout his career. His compassion for animals was commendable, at least. George's presence in this world has made an important and ongoing difference. He will be missed. Randall Bain
George and I were class mates at Barrett School and Woodlawn High and stayed good friends even after going different ways. He was a pleasure to see at WHS reunions. I wish we had stayed closer. I will miss him.

George & I spent eight years together in the same class at Barrett Grammar School & then we went to Woodlawn for four more years together. He was such a nice guy. I always think of him when I remember our Barrett class. So sorry for your loss.
George ole friend, we were a part of a very special time, one I would not trade for a million bucks. The joys of fraternity brotherhood, the wonderful JSU experiences 0of the 60's make for the most wonderful memories possible.
Thank you my friend for being my friend
George was my upstairs neighbor from 2009-2014 and a great lover of cats. He was so kind-hearted that after Katrina his rescue friends talked him into taking a few too many. But amazingly all the cats got along, I think he loved them so much that they somehow became "uncatty". A true cat herder if there ever was one, I know there are plenty of his cats he's had over his life in heaven loving on him now and God bless them all !
My condolences for your loss Jeremiah 29:11
I have so many great memories of George when we were cheerleaders together at JSU! I considered George a great friend, and he and Randall Bain were my best friends. I will always be grateful for their invaluable love and support. George was a great guy and will be greatly missed.
I remember you from Woodlawn High School in Birmingham. And although we weren't good friends, I always remember you being a very nice person.
So very sorry for your family's loss. Cheer with Jesus George.
Sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you during your time of loss. 2 Cor. 1:1-5
Offering my sincerest condolences to the Adams family. May you find comfort in the love of family and friends during this time.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
My condolences to the family. Continue to pray for God's will to be done one earth as in heaven. Then death will be no more (1 Cor. 15:26) and George can live in the paradise promised by our heavenly Father.
May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time
I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the love of family and friends, and in the hope from God.
George will certainly be missed by all who knew him in our Atlanta neighborhood. I will miss our discussions of current politics and our shared love for cats. George once told me that like me he grew up near a highway in Alabama, and as a child his cats were always killed on the road. I am sure that led to both our love and protectiveness toward the small creatures.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Remembering the great times we had together at Jacksonville State University and events with Alpha Tau Omega members. George was a great guy everyone loved. I appreciate the fact that he always made sure I had a ride in the front seat of his car going back and forth to school from East Lake!
