Dear Ollie you & your entire family have my extreme sorrow for the death of your Beloved Husband George. Remember Jesus words "Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4.
Poppie, You were the best Great Grandpa a kid could ever have. I just wish you could be here right now with me doing the bah bah bah bah bah thing :)
I did not know Mr. Bright, but would like to offer my condolences for your loss. As a veteran myself I appreciate his service and sacrafice for our nation. My he rest in peace in the presence of god and the angels. As a member of the Michigan Patriot Guard Riders it was such an honor to be allowed to stand for Mr. Bright.
Donna I am so sorry I didn't make it to the funeral home to pay my respects. I didn't know your Dad personally but I do know how much you loved him. God bless and your family. Mary Jo Duffy
Bob sat right in front of me at church every sunday and always encouraged me when I was nervous to do "children's time" each month. He always told me that I'd do just fine and it took the edge off. He also said that all the people hugging me and shaking my hand were God hugging me. I'll keep that awesome thought always!
Bob(as I always knew you)you will be truly missed. You and Ollie have been considered dearest friends by my family for years. You were always there for my mom and my aunt when needed or just to talk to. My daughter looked to you as a grandfather that she will miss dearly. I believe that everyone that you came into contact with is a better person for it.
Poppie, I cannot put into words just how much you will be missed. You were always there for all of us if we needed anything. Seeing you and Gram all these years still in love was the best thing I have ever seen in my life so far. I love the way you guys were so in love for so many years. I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful role model as a grandfather! I will never stop missing you. Love, your granddaughter Missy.
Thank you for your service George> Looked at your photos-quite handsome you are. The world is a better place because you were in it. RIP buddy
Poppie, you were the best Grandfather that a man could ever be blessed with! You taught me so many lessons about being the best father, and husband that i could be. You always used to tell me how good the Lord had been to me by blessing me with my wife and children. Truth is, the Lord had blessed me many years before giving me you as my grandfather! You will always be in my thoughts and prayers until we meet again! Love, your grandson, Matt
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I will keep you all in my prayers.
Thanks for your service to our country. RIP
Mr. "B" and I go way back to the 60's when I started going to Bethel United Methodist Church. We both were in the choir and we made some beautiful music together. He had the most wonderful bass voice that could move anyone to tears. We sang together over the years - up until our Church closed and he recorded a lot of our duets. He was a great man - so kind to everyone he met - he will be missed greatly!!
Hearing Debbie and her mother speak about their dad/husband, his love and devotion for his family, his love for aviation and aircraft only served in having me regret not to have known him personally. His wings have taken flight for the heaven and stars. I pray for comfort for his family that is left behind. Sincerely, Rick K.
My heartfelt sympathy to all the Brite family. Bob was a remarkable man who never seemed to stop working with Ollie, always at his side. I'll miss him with his everlasting smile and kindness. Blessings and Peace to you and your family.
Your neighbor and friend, Carole Sears/Warren,MI.
My sweet, sweet dad lived his life loving his family, worshiping God and serving his country. His examples of honesty and integrity made me the person I am today. His gentle soul will always be a part of me. I love you so much, daddy.
The best man I ever had the honor to know, and It happened to be my Dad. He was honist, giving, honorable, loving ...I could go on and on. He was a WWII veteran who made it through Omaha Beach and has too many medals to list, but never spoke of them. I will try to be half the man he was, and I know I will see him in Heaven soon. !!!!
