George helped me a lot through the years. He was a wealth of knowledge and was always very friendly and helpful. So sorry for your loss.
I enjoyed working with George while I was at PAC. In February, he told me that he had gotten married and that he was very happy. I give my condolences to his family that I am sure will miss him greatly. He was an inspiration to everyone that met him.
I've known George for years, although never met him face to face. George was my "go to" guy for fixing the PAC equipment we have in our Lab. He could help me solve any problem big or small, and he always made time for some personal conversation in the process. Whether we were talking about a flash point unit, our childhoods, his love to dance, or my love of the pacific ocean, I always felt like I was talking to a friend. My heart felt condolences go out to the entire Shaver family.
George was a friend and colleague who helped so many and asked for nothing in return. I worked with George at PAC and he was always ready to offer support to all the companies global customers who needed help with their problems. He will be badly missed by all his family and friends, but also the people around the world who used his wealth of knowledge and experience to help them out.
Gem of a guy who I will certainly miss!
George and I worked side by side literally for over a year. His great manner with customers and humble servant atttitude really was a great influence on me. I will truly miss his sense of humor and the many great conversations we had together. God bless you George, till we meet again my friend...
George was a class act – one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He was one of those guys you could always rely on, fun to be around and just an overall decent human being. The world lost a great one and we will all miss him! God bless you George – you are getting your reward in heaven.
When I joined PAC I knew immediately that George was a sharp cookie! I have worked in several World Class Research Labs with some of the brightest Scientists and George could compete with any of them, bar none! Plus, he had a lot of horse sense. He made me feel at home and always promptly answered my questions, no matter how silly they were. He took me under his wing. I shall greatly miss you my friend. Rest in peace you old fart and dear friend you have earned it. Gratefully yours, the young fart.
I remember George as a quiet but fun guy, always ready for a hug. Royce reminded me yesterday that after I had danced with George once, I said "I can't believe it, he spun me 4 times". We will miss his smiling face. Rosie, we pray Gods comfort and strength for you and all the family.
My condolences to the entire Shaver family as you have lost a truly wonderful man. I am honored to have met you and had the opportunity to work with you.
Smooth Sailing Shipmate and May God Bless You Always.
I knew George Shaver. He is a good man.
Responsible & very helpful.
Friendly and kind.
Knowledgeable & patient.
I made it always to meet him & shake his hand each time I am in Houston.
He sat at the corner next to the corridor glassed walkway.
I could never miss him whenever I walk to the testing yard.
I am sad to hear his passing. May HEAVEN be his home.
Rest in Peace my friend....................................Jonathan Salimat
George was our friend and always had a kind word for everyone. We will miss his smiling face. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
Love Mac and Elizabeth
It was truly a pleasure to know George. We spent some time each day trading stories about our grandkids latest exploits! However, I will always remember him whirling around on the dance floor. I will dearly miss him as I know we all will.
Rosie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your husband. I am praying for you and your family that God will comfort you doing this most difficult time, and that He will help you to be strong. My heart is with you.
George and I grew up in Tipton, OK. We ran across each other here in Oklahoma City, in Tipton and on the other side of the Pacific Ocean over the years it was always a pleasant visit. Benny Whaley, Edmond, OK
George's infectious laughter and cheerful nature always brought joy to everyone's lives. He was such a sweet and gentle man and will be greatly missed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May the comfort of God help you and your family through this difficult time.
Rosie, we will all remember George on the dance floor, smiling and happy. I think he would have liked it that way. We will miss his smiling face and hugs, but we will think of him often. Our prayers are with you and the family. George, save us a seat in heaven. God bless.
George was the most knowledgeable and helpful person I have ever worked with. He was a true Southern gentleman and will be missed. God bless his family.
I am so sorry for your loss Rosie and the rest of the family! May the comforter come and be with you during this time of grieve.
It's so very sad to know we won't be seeing you on the dance floor anymore. To Rosie and George's family and his many friends ~ May the peace of God that knows all things and can understand the loss that you are feeling wrap you in His arms and take away some of the pain.....
R.I.P. George, now you'll dance your way into the pearly gates of heaven and wait on the rest of us to follow!
My prayers are with you Rosie. God bless you during this difficult time.
I'm so sorry for your loss. This goes out to the family and especially to you Rosie I love you and it was special when I was able to come visit. George was an inspriation to everyone.
Very sorry to hear about George. May he rest in peace and be free of pain and suffering. We will miss him greatly not only as a great friend but a great dancer. Prayers of comfort for George's family and friends. As Mellyn our dance teacher said, George, Ken Bray will be there to welcome you to Heaven's dance floor. Dance on George! Dance On!
We are so sorry to hear about George passing. I worked with George and we often chatted in the breakroom. I called him "Dancing George" since he loved to dance. He was a special person with a heart of gold and he will be missed. My heart goes out to Rosie and the family.
I love you dad. There is a big hole in my heart that will never be filled again. You taught me how to be a good dad, you taught me its ok to hug and love on your kids and still be a man. You taught me that I could dance and still be cool. You taught me that I could be a godly man and still have fun. You taught me about life and death and how no one gets out of this world alive.
I will always love you and I will always miss you. I know you are no longer in pain or suffering and that is how I will get through this. I know it was the best thing to let you go, but it is the hardest decision I have ever had to make.
You will always be a part of my life and I will always thank god for your life. But I will always miss my daddy.
