Gloria Janice Leonidas was eligible for membership of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the National Society of the Daughters of the American Colonists.

Gloria will always have a special place in my heart. I knew her for only a few months, but I am lucky that I could know her. I remember when I would sleep-over at Sophia's, she would work in the kitchen as I watched Dr. Who with Sophia, looking up occasionally and adding remarks on episodes that were funny, interesting, or one of her personal favorites. The last time I saw her, she made us girls fancy juice, and sent us upstairs to practice our songs for our performances the next day. She loved Sophia's music.
Unfortunately, I never got to see her again. But I will always remember her as an amazing role model and a wonderful woman.
My heart goes out to Tom, Christina, and Sophia as they navigate these difficult times.

I am still in shock over the loss of Gloria. She was a very good friend to me for many years. We spent countless hours sharing stories about our families. I want you to know that it was always obvious as we talked that she loved you deeply and was increadibly proud of all three of you.

Gloria was my 2nd cousin and growing up I always thought she was so perfect. Lovely, intelligent and a lot of fun. I had the honor of working with Gloria both as an associate and customer for more than ten years. She was expecting Sophia when I left ERW. Nobody knew lighting better than Gloria. May Gloria be remembered eternally! As part of her very large Highland Park High School extended family, I was so sad to hear of her passing. It is impossible for us as humans to know God's plan here, but one day it will all be revealed.
