Gloria Janice Leonidas was eligible for membership of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the National Society of the Daughters of the American Colonists.
Tom, I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
May God bless you, Gloria! You were an amazing person and your memory will live on forever. My deepest condolences to your husband, daughters, mother, and the rest of your family and friends.
Gloria will always have a special place in my heart. I knew her for only a few months, but I am lucky that I could know her. I remember when I would sleep-over at Sophia's, she would work in the kitchen as I watched Dr. Who with Sophia, looking up occasionally and adding remarks on episodes that were funny, interesting, or one of her personal favorites. The last time I saw her, she made us girls fancy juice, and sent us upstairs to practice our songs for our performances the next day. She loved Sophia's music.
Unfortunately, I never got to see her again. But I will always remember her as an amazing role model and a wonderful woman.
My heart goes out to Tom, Christina, and Sophia as they navigate these difficult times.
Rest in peace Gloria
As an Orthodox Christian from St. George in Palm Desert, California. I understand the depth of your sadness. Gloria is very special and one of God's chosen. May her memory be eternal. If I still lived in Seattle, I would have been at her funeral. I was there in spirit. Delphine Lucas
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Leonidas family. We share in their pain, frustration and sadness. May God be with you and give you strength and peace.
Dear Gloria, you were like a sister to me. I share in your family's deep sorrow. Like you wrote in 1975 "Friends forever," You are a bright star that will forever shine in my heart. I love and miss you. Rest in peace dear, dear friend.
May Gloria's memory be eternal - and eternally cherished. Our children were baptized in St. Demetrios, and though we have moved to California, it feels as though members of our extended family have been slain. Our prayers - and our hearts - are with Gloria, Tom, Christina, and Sophia, family and friends. We are so sorry for your loss. May her love for all of you stay strong in all of you.
Words can't express how saddened we are by your loss from this senseless tragedy. You and your daughters are in our thoughts and prayers.
I did not know Mrs. Leonidas or your family. However I wanted to show support in the time of your loss. I know that there are not many words that can soothe your hearts at this time but your family is beaufitful and I pray that you may all find peace and healing. May her soul rest with the Lord, and your hearts carry her spirit forever.

I can only imagine the pain you are in now. I hope you will soon be able to remember Gloria with the joy of having had such a beautiful person in your lives.

Dear dear Tom, Cristina and Sophia,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this unbelievably sad time.
Mere words cannot adequately convey my thoughts and feelings.
I do know Gloria, although, taken from this Earth too soon, is with our Lord, Jesus Christ. She is lighting the stars of Heaven to brightly shine upon us.
Although you won't be able be with her in the same way, she will be with you always.. In memories and love and in the flicker of a light, a breeze coming through the window, or the feeling of warm love beside you.
May you feel Gloria's
presence and may you feel the Grace of God surrounding you.

Gloria was my 2nd cousin and growing up I always thought she was so perfect. Lovely, intelligent and a lot of fun. Every time I would visit DFW I would sit and talk to Gloria's mother, my Tante Chrystal, and get updates on the family. My parents, Karl & Renate Meyer, my sister, brother and their extended families have you ~ Tom, Christina, & Sophia in our prayers!

I had the honor of working with Gloria both as an associate and customer for more than ten years. She was expecting Sophia when I left ERW. Nobody knew lighting better than Gloria. She was renowned nationwide. Tom, I pray you will take comfort in the Lord, and know that Gloria is safe with Him now. RIP Gloria. You are loved. See you on the other side.
May Gloria be remembered eternally! As part of her very large Highland Park High School extended family, I was so sad to hear of her passing. It is impossible for us as humans to know God's plan here, but one day it will all be revealed.
