I miss you so much Grandmother! Patti, Don and I had lunch in LaGrange and thought of you. Then, when we returned to Ohio, UK was playing Old Misse and my thoughts went directly toward you! Every day there is another memory and another tear that reaches to heaven until we meet again!

Both my husband Kevin and I had Mrs. Baker in the 9th grade. This would have been in 1968. She was the best grammar teacher ever. "is, are, am, was, were, be, being, been"! Donna (Smith) Bryant, Savannah, Georgia

I am very sorry about the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful teacher and a very good friend of my mother, Mary Doyle. Their years at Valley teaching English together were special. The memories at Valley High School will be treasured by all. Her family will be in my thoughts.

Mrs. Baker was my best teacher ever. She was my 7th grade core teacher in 1955 at Valley, her 1st year there. All my family members and friends have heard about her over the years. She has been in my thoughts so often and I will keep you, her family in my thoughts and prayers now ,at this time of her loss.

I taught with Ms. Baker for four years at Valley HS, she was a great teacher and friend. She knew both my parents from Beaver Dam, Martha and Owen Hammons. We all thought so much of her, Ms. Baker gave me my first baby shower in 1974 at her home. We will cherish the memories; our prayers go out to her family. Cecilia Hammons Finnell

Mrs. Baker was absolutely one of my favorite teachers at Valley. She always taught with such a passion and was definitely an inspiration. I will always remember the passion she had when she was telling us the story of "A Tale of Two Cities" She will be missed and God Bless the Baker family.
