Jack, I was sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I took Home Economics from your Mom at Cardinal Mooney High School in 1973. I really enjoyed my class with her. I actually went on to study Business Management and eventually have my own business, a Quilt Store in Venice, FL for 29 years now. So the sewing skills that I learned from your Mom have served me well. I also remember the Baked Alaska that we made under her guidance. I would see you Mom occasionally at the Friendship Knot Quilters'Guild meetings in Sarasota. My own Mother passed away almost 3 years ago and I miss her too. Memories are something to cherish. I has glad that your Mom was a teacher in my life.
I think there is one big WUM meeting in heaven, with Gwen, Pat, and Louise. I learned a lot under your mom and the others. Loved going to Lake Yale with them. She was a wonderful teacher.
Our prayers are with you,

Jack, my deepest sympathies to you and the family. She was a wonderful person, glad I knew her, she always shared her faith, and lived it daily. She's dancing on the streets of gold now, happy and whole...blessing to you!
my grandmother was truly the best she was more than words could ever explain! I was so beyond bless to be raised by such a amazing women. It will not be the same without her, I will love her and will miss her until I die.
Our hearts and prayers are with you. We are so grateful for a lifetime of special memories of a truly wonderful Aunt. While everyone will miss her being here with us, I know there is rejoicing and celebrating in heaven!
